Really enjoy the Detective board game series as a whole! The main game is the best, which is a card-based deduction game that has players choosing how to spend resources to determine what leads they should follow for a murder mystery. You have to figure out whodunit and are tested on your knowledge of the case at the end. Season One, which is this game, is a set of three cases. It doesn’t have an overarching plot like the main game, which is a bit disappointing. These cases are find, but one wrong move or missed lead can prevent you from getting all the necessary clues to solve the case. I recommend the other games in the series, which have better narratives and mysteries. This is still fun for any aspiring gumshoes. Note that there is no Season 2 as I write this.
