Working at the North Pole is tough. While making toys for children is a worthy job, the dream job of most elves is to become a member of the elite forces and be a Top Shelf Elf. This year might be your lucky year. The East Coast Control Center at Santa's Command Central is missing a captain as Hermie has gone off to start his dental career. He has left you to fill in at the last minute and if you pull this off, a promotion is certain. Access the control center, identify the children that get toys, and load Santa's sleigh in time. He will be back to command central in one hour and the east coast is counting on you.

114 escape rooms

We opted for the longer version of this room and were not disappointed. The first challenge starts at the door to enter the room. After solving, you gain entry to THE North Pole and Santa's command center and toy workshop. Lots of challenges to solve and some require augmented reality from Santa's tablet. Not a linear game so everyone can be working on something. It seemed odd at first to be playing a holiday themed game in April but once inside you will quickly forget it's not December and understand why they opted to keep this room around longer. Great for families and kids will love it.

Gameplay

Lots of fun and non-linear so everyone can play at the same time.

Atmosphere

Set design, special effects, and props are immersive and very well executed. You feel like you're in Santa's command center.

Customer service

I cannot say enough about how great the people are. After playing Under Pressure on the weekend, our GM Addison agreed to come in on Wednesday when they are normally closed to run two rooms for us because it was my birthday and we were visiting from Florida. The owner Roger Siegrist then came in to show us some insider secrets and BTS.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

We've played a quite a few holiday themed rooms but the North Pole high tech command center with computers made this one very different. Augmented reality was also something we hadn't seen in any other rooms.

Story

Pretty typical help Santa get toys ready for Christmas story but the execution was well above similar rooms.

Difficulty

Hard

This was a very challenging room even with 3 people.

Game tech

High tech

Very high tech. Possibly the most high tech we've played. Some challenges required the use of augmented reality using Santa's tablet.

We escape with 3 but an extra set of hands would have been helpful.

80 escape rooms

This room has some fantastic ideas, but there's so much to do that it's really not feasible for a group of two to complete in the allotted time. I would suggest a minimum of 4 players to have a chance of completing the room. It's a lovely room, but there's an awful lot going on so it's difficult to keep track of the objectives.

If you’re looking for a fun and festive escape room, this one’s got it all—cute Christmassy vibes and even twisted Christmas carols! 🎄🎶 Highly recommend going with at least 4 players for the best chance to escape, but if you’re just playing for the holiday fun and don't need to finish it all, 2 works too! The mix of high-tech features and classic locks kept things interesting, though we needed a few hints for clarity. Owner Roger was our GM and is super warm and friendly.
