You’re trapped in a temple following an adventurer's trail—and finding the treasure is the only way out. Archibald Tucker was one of the greatest explorers of the 1930s. His tales of adventure were known the world over and his prized journal documented every adventure. In fact, he uncovered a treasure so rare, no man alive had seen it! But a sudden gust of wind slammed the temple door shut - sealing Tucker and his journal inside and both were never seen again. Now armed with the latest technology, your research points you to the exact whereabouts of the lost journal which holds the secrets to finding the treasure and you’ve brought all the materials essential for your adventure. However, once you’re inside, angered spirits awaken and deem you unworthy of the riches held within…Now, as a test, they grant you 60 minutes to prove your worth.

Rating: 3.5/5 - Enjoyable room with decent set and tech Pros: ➕I liked the set, atmosphere was appropriate, though not the best jungle set I've seen ➕Puzzles and flow were decent, no significant red herrings or annoying puzzles ➕Multiple rooms ➕Some tech mixed with padlocks and number pads ➕Friendly game master ➕Writing tablet was provided and the provided flashlights were actually bright and usable Meh: ➖No significant memorable moments or reveals ➖Puzzles weren't bad, but they just weren't that fun or unique overall ➖The locks used did not fit the theme and felt out of place Cons: ➖Normally I don't discuss value but the price of the rooms at this location is too high for what you get, fortunately we used a discount code for weekday games I would recommend 2-3 enthusiasts, maybe 4 if you are newbies. There isn't that much to do at once. Update: My ranking of all Escapology rooms I've played (multiple locations). 1. A Pirate's Curse - 3.5/5 2. Scooby-Doo - 3.5/5 3. Lost City - 3.5/5 4. Star Trek: Quantum Filament - 3/5 5. Th3 C0D3 - 3/5

This was another room of Escapology’s that I felt we were doing worse than our time reflects. We spent a lot of time spinning our wheels and there was one point where we completed the same puzzle twice, because we thought we had it wrong and then redid it and realized we put it together the exact same way. Many of the “codes” to complete the puzzles were found in the journal mentioned in the description which made finding what we needed to easy, but did take away some of the fun of finding the clues. We used around 3 clues, but one I don’t want to count because the lock was confusing (no spoilers, but it was a bit frustrating to have an answer that doesn’t fit the lock). I think this set was the best set of the three rooms I have played at this location. It was also the storyline that I found the most intriguing.

The set was super cool!

Customer service

Keagan was great as a GM in both games we played!

Story

Medium

Of the three rooms we’ve done (Scooby Doo, Code, and this one, Lost City was the most difficult).

Game tech

High tech

There were a couple high tech items and a couple locks - would say a good mixture of both.

We played with three and thought that was about right! The rooms weren’t super cramped, but there were only so many puzzles to complete.

Think teens could handle this one, although some of the puzzles are a bit more involved.

Strip mall with ample parking. On weeknights, we’ve never had an issue parking directly in front.
