This room was interesting; the plot was exciting and the gameplay had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, a lot of the puzzles required random jumps in logic or even just plain guessing, and it made some of the rooms frustrating. There also was an aspect of messing up some of the room (required to solve a puzzle) that went against standard escape room etiquette, and thus it took our team a long time to solve since we did not want to disturb the set. Overall, we still enjoyed the storyline and special effects in the room, but we would have liked to see better flow from the puzzles and gameplay.

My favorite room at Escapetown! The story and theming are overall pretty great. The puzzles are unique, creative, and beautifully non-linear! There are a few that aren't as intuitive, but that makes solving them even more rewarding. I love how many of the puzzles are believable within the story of the room! Even the intro video has some useful clues, so keep your eyes peeled. If you're playing with GM Ansel or GM Charlie (😉), they may give you a fright! Be sure to let your Gamemaster know if you're uncomfortable with sudden or loud noises.
