Brandon Darkmoor Geisterjäger: Der Fall des Afrikanischen Götzen

I really enjoyed „Brandon Darkmoor Geisterjäger: Der Fall des Afrikanischen Götzen“. There were some jump scares and clever mechanisms that gave the game a mysterious atmosphere. My only criticism: some of the puzzles were relatively easy to solve. Overall, it was a very good escape room. Compared to the other rooms in Bad Salzuflen, which have set the bar very high, I would personally rank it in third place. Nevertheless, it is definitely a room worth playing.

Ghost Hunter Brandon Darkmoor: The Strange Case of the African Idol by Salzufer Unterwelt was the standout experience of our entire escape room tour—rivaled only by Kuriosum from Escape Room Witten. From start to finish, this room nails the balance between spooky and playful, with a clear and clever Ghostbusters-inspired twist throughout. The atmosphere, lighting, sound effects, puzzles, and narrative all come together in an incredibly cohesive and immersive way. The hint system deserves a special mention—it’s one of the most original and in-universe implementations I have encountered. Every part of the experience felt meticulously crafted and packed with charm. The final photo moment adds the perfect finishing touch to an already unforgettable adventure. A must-play for escape room fans of all levels—especially if you enjoy a spooky story with a humorous side. This one delivers on all fronts. On my top 10 currently of best escape rooms.

Wow! This is a very fun room to play!! Everything - especially how hints are delivered - is done with an extra sprinkle of humor. A must play for everyone loving escape rooms that don’t take themselves too seriously. For me personally the full fun was reduced a little as the whole room was just incredibly loud. The sound was set to a very loud volume so not the usual background sound but very very prominent which made it hard to communicate with the team mates - we basically had to shout at each other at times - and concentrate on what you’re doing. I am not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be or just an unfortunate setting. We told the game master afterwards, they said they’ll look into it.

This room has an amazing atmosphere and creates the illusion you are not alone in the room (are you?). I've never seen a hint system like they use, and it made us laugh a lot. This is a must-do escape room if you're in the area!

A great spooky humor room! One thing I like in rooms that I can never get enough of is banter with in universe characters, this room has plenty! They opened specifically for us, and even allowed custom time slots! Very good attention to detail, puzzling and effects. Highly recommend! 100% playable in English.

Wir durften heute das neue Abenteuer in Bad Salzuflen erleben und auch wenn das Spiel erst seit wenigen Tagen buchbar ist, haben wir ein rundes Erlebnis gehabt. Wer den Geisterjäger Brandon Darkmoor bereits in Berlin unterstützt hat, wird den Stil sicher wieder erkennen. Bereits die Einführung in das Spiel hat bei uns für einige Lacher gesorgt. Auf einer überschaubaren Spielfläche erlebten wir eine wunderschöne und detailberliebte Kulisse, spaßige Aufgaben und den gezielten Einsatz von Licht und Ton. Das Hintsystem ist sehr cool umgesetzt. Das neue Abenteuer ist auf jeden Fall eine große Empfehlung und zählt ganz sicher mit zu den besten Erlebnissen in Deutschland!
