6.8/10 I’m conflicted. This room is old and you seriously feel its age through the experience. Some puzzle pieces are hanging on for dear life in their last moments before they fall apart at your gentle touch. There are some really good puzzles in here! Unfortunately they are overshadowed by some annoying puzzles that they put into place. And I mean ANNOYING. The flow is decent, the story is cute, and the set design/production would have been amazing for a room that came out 6 years ago. Just like Grandma, this room’s best days are behind it. Maybe it’s time to retire, Grandma? You’ve done enough.

Grandma's Master Plan - Granny had left cryptic clues about our inheritance. If we wanted to cash in on the deal we had to discover Grandma's darkest secrets. Pros: The rooms at 60 Out vary quite a bit making it difficult to talk generally about them as a group. The set design on some of the rooms (Titanic for instance) is stellar and far exceeded our expectations. Others are more typical of middle-of-the-road escape rooms. The puzzles are all generally logical with some games being more physical than mental. Yet, all the rooms were enjoyable to play and the puzzles mostly solvable. We had a great experience with all of the game masters who monitored our progress closely and provided assistance when needed. Overall we enjoyed our games at 60 Out and highly recommend visiting all of their rooms in the various locations in the Los Angeles area. Cons: We had a few mechanical difficulties in some of the more technologically complex rooms and at least one or two puzzle fails in games where poor puzzle design hindered our progress. These rooms were excellent overall. We found 60 Out, specifically Titanic and Grandma's MasterPlan, to be among our top ten favorite escape room experiences. Do not pass up the opportunity to play their games if you are in Southern California.

Just finished the Grandma's Master plan Escape Room with a group of my friends. It was very exciting and fun everyone was able to help and able to interact with everything. I wanted to shout out Jenna for being our host. She was very fun and accommodating and very helpful. Recommend 60 Out Escape Rooms

Grandma’s Masterplan had a good number of puzzles that were great to solve with a mid-size/larger group! Definitely a variety of puzzles where we each got to play a part and Jenna was a GM who set a good premise for us as her grandchildren 👵🏻

Room was good, and very long. The story was rememberable, and there was a great plot twist. The set was ok, nothing great. Most of the puzzles were good, some were confusing to use and some puzzles are stereotypical escape room puzzles. THIS ROOM IS LINEAR, and my group of five had a lot of wasted time where most of the group was waiting.
Almost all the puzzles were very well designed and worked well. The puzzles worked well with the story and it all had great flow.
Atmosphere was great. Set was good, it wasn’t the best in the world or anything but it was good.
Gm was great

They gave 75 minutes and my group needed it. There’s so many rooms and it keeps on going and going.
Story was great with a nice plot twist.

Room was difficult. It’s a linear room and in my group of five many of us weren’t doing anything for long periods of time.

One lock looks like a daily item but functions as a lock, and if you use it as that item it won’t work. Our Gm had to tell us.
