The story line was really the only good aspect about it. There was no real aha good feeling moment until toward the end, but the puzzles felt obvious, not much logic needed. It was mostly just needing to do the labor for it or waiting for a solution.
The staff was very nice and honestly makes up for it a little bit. This experience would have been easily way worse if the staff wasn’t nice and understanding when the room actually completely froze on us and we had to wait nearly half an hour in the waiting room for them to hard reset it. Though they gave us extra time to complete it, they didn’t note how long the first half took us. When the reset happened they lost our time, and we couldn’t get an accurate sense of how long it took us. While the time isn’t necessarily the end of the world, it would have still been nice to have.
I also think there should be some type of warning before people sign up for this room - it can be overstimulating for some individuals, and therefore I believe this is not necessarily accessible depending on the neurodiverse individual.
That being said, go and do the jumanji room. It was excellent. Will definitely do other rooms by this establishment at some point. Staff was next level nice and helpful, and the room aesthetics from both were very fun.
Particularly interesting or different
No
They said it was expert level but nothing was particularly expert
Major breakdown mid game. Their system crashed for our room and we waited maybe 30 minutes in the lobby for them to hard reset it.
