9 escape rooms
Made it out with 9 seconds remaining - woo-hoo! Our game master, Captain Jack, aided us through the Pirate Ship room. We appreciated his energy and pirate persona adopted to introduce us to the room and get us excited!! We had 10 in our group, ages ranging from toddler to 50's - this room felt appropriate for all. It was dim, so use of phone lights may be needed. The multi-room aspect to escape was really cool. The aesthetic of each room and the puzzles all made sense and kept to the pirate theme, but team work is definitely required to solve them. We had about a handful of clues to ask for help with. One of the puzzles we had solved before it was caught by the gamemaster, so we spent a few minutes scratching our heads since we knew we solved it. My main feedback for the room would be for the escape room team to review the object that announces that we won the game at the end. There is a sticker on the item that said not to open it, so without the game master telling us to open it, we would have never known to do so. It is very possible a child in our group opened it early on that could've affect the mechanism to pop it open, but I still think this further goes to show there is room for this to be reviewed. Overall, we had an amazing time and we look forward to coming back and trying another room soon!
