The game is fine. Pretty standard stuff. There's some red herrings in the room that I don't care for, and the room is a bit blah, but overall, a fun room to do.

Gameplay

The set it fine. I mean, its a lab, so its not going to be super flashy or interesting.

Customer service

GM was great and we enjoyed our chat with him.

Particularly interesting or different

Story
Difficulty

Hard

One of the puzzles had some leaps in logic that were bit confusing. One key you needed to "find" which was odd.

Game tech

Mechanical

Nothing too fantasticly high tech.

Ideal number of players

5

Rooms are a bit small, so I think no more than 5 would be fine.

Was anything broken?

Yes

One of the puzzles was slightly damaged, rendering it difficult to see the clues in it.

Accessibility

There's a color puzzle in which you have to distinguish colors, under red room lighting. So trying to figure out what was red, orange, indigo and purple was a bit tricky. When we got it wrong, we swapped our indigo and our purple.

Easy to find location

Yes

Parking

Thanks for the honest review! We appreciate you taking the time to play and share your thoughts. We know red herrings can be hit or miss — some players enjoy the added challenge, while others prefer a more streamlined path. Either way, we're glad you still found it fun overall, and we hope you'll come back and try one of our other rooms for a different flavor of adventure!

I’ve admittedly done this room before. I did it a year ago at another escapology and didn’t realize it until I got into the room. The rooms just Meh. The stories fine nothing fancy. The puzzles are bland and sometimes aggravating. Spent 5 minutes on a stupid puzzle and had to burn a few hints. Overall not the best room i’ve ever done.

the address on Morty takes you to the middle of nowhere but it’s easy to find if you just call.

Thanks for coming back and sharing your thoughts — even if it wasn’t the experience you were hoping for. We understand how replaying a room (even unintentionally) can take the edge off the excitement, especially if the puzzles didn’t strike the right balance the first time around. While this game is part of a standardized set from Escapology, we always aim to deliver a fresh and engaging run through thoughtful hosting and smooth gameplay. Your feedback is heard, and we hope to earn a better impression from you next time.
