A power-mad cult leader. A bone-chilling curse. Break the cycle before midnight or face death yourself! The deranged minister of Crickley Church decided to kill his entire congregation after their confessions convinced his twisted mind that they had, among themselves, committed the 7 Deadly Sins. After inciting a curse on the children playing in the rooms beneath the church he buries himself alive in the church’s hidden crypt, while promising to haunt the church forevermore. Now it’s up to you to locate the hidden crypt, find the dagger, and drive it through the heart of the evil minister before time runs out. Then, and only then, you will be saved and destroy the curse forever.

We did this with two kids and four adults total And it was kind of hectic. It’s very dark in there as we needed probably another flashlight, and they only provide one. It was kind of creepy. The theme and some of the puzzles were actually quite difficult but definitely doable. We definitely got frustrated a couple times, but I did love the ideas of some of the puzzles. We definitely needed some hints too.

I still had fun, and it’s not a bad idea if you’re spending time in City Walk, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for this one. The atmosphere was well done, but the room was relatively small, so I wouldn’t do this one with more than four. Some of the puzzles were pretty obscure in their solutions, but when we’d ask for a little nudge, we’d be given the entire solution.

The puzzles did not really match the theme. Like why would you create a room called “7 Deadly Sins” when there is no reference to these sins during the puzzles? The puzzles that were in the room also required leaps of logic and we were only able to beat record time because our game master had to pretty much nudge us every step of the way. Terrible room and I’ve been to other escape rooms where they have done the theme justice - this is not one of them. I’m disappointed because I expected the difficulty level to be as it is due to the puzzles. Now I know that this is due to the weak design. The room also smells stuffy from the fog machine and they should really consider a ventilation system for the space.

The storyline was a little complicated and the video was WAAAAY too long. The puzzles were alright. We did this room with a group of 6 and we felt soooo cramped! Wouldn’t recommend unless you don’t have a lot of options.

Puzzles were fine. The theme didn’t really seem to fit with what happened in the story. They may want to rename this room. But we had fun. Also we had 6 people and it was CRAMPED!

It was… fine? Not that immersive with some cheesier aesthetics. Some puzzles were fun though! Overall, for the price I’d recommend others but if you’re in city walk and looking to get a fix I’d recommend it.

Game itself was fine. The room itself is a bit more simplistic than anticipated, compared to a newer 60 Out or Questroom at least. The puzzles are pretty good overall. More locks than some other rooms. But the puzzles to get the keys and codes are pretty decent. Definitely a slightly more old school way of progressing through the room. Requiring more observation and thinking. Would recommend stating whether you want auto hints or not at the start of the game. Overall had a good time. Definitely gonna be doing all of the rooms
