Let me start by saying that the official website, trailer and designation on Morty all make it crystal clear: this is not an escape room. It seems the negative feedback on Morty is coming from escape room enthusiasts who thought they booked a traditional escape room. It's genuinely disappointing that this isn't recognized as a top-tier experience on Morty, as it absolutely warrants that status. If you approach this as the horror-themed immersive theatrical experience it's designed to be, you're in for an incredible time. From the compelling story and performances to the atmospheric set, lighting, and music, every aspect is perfectly executed. Kudos to the entire team! 👏"

Not so much escape room as experience. Heavily actor and story driven. I feel like we were rushed through some parts and other part dragged. Some fun solo moments. I appreciate what Escape Room Era is doing to the immersive entertainment genre, and with a bit of polishing I could see this really shine, but it wasn’t my cup of tea personally. PS Gage was an excellent host.

Loved it! It was scary, exhilarating, immersive and had a great story. THIS IS NOT AN ESCAPE ROOM. If you love immersive experiences like The Willows, Creep, Delusion, etc., then you will love this experience. I’m so excited to have an experience like this run all year around instead of only during haunt season.

Absolutely Terrifying Fun – A Must-Try for Horror Fans in South OC! 👻🔦 As a huge fan of the paranormal and all things horror (Project Fear on YouTube is my jam!), this experience was everything I hoped for and more. Ghost Hunters by The Escape Room Era is one of the most thrilling horror experiences I’ve done — and trust me, I’ve done a lot. The story is immersive and creepy: you’re brought in to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a previous team of ghost hunters, and from the moment you arrive, the tension kicks in. We went with a group of 4 (though it fits up to 12), and it definitely tested our fear levels. If you’ve got some scaredy cats in your crew, make sure to bring a few brave souls to keep the energy balanced 😅. The experience is still new, and while it’s already a blast, I think with a bit more investment into upgraded props, tech, and set design, it could be next-level phenomenal. I’ve also done the Weeping Witch escape room, and if Ghost Hunters received that same level of investment in props and technology, they would absolutely kill it in the horror experience industry. The concept, the live actors, and the potential are all there — it just needs that extra push in production value to make it truly elite. What really stood out was how real it felt — I honestly felt like I was part of the Project Fear crew, investigating an actual haunted location. The live actors (huge shoutout to Gaige, Jacob, and Sawyer) absolutely killed it — their energy and commitment made everything 10x more intense and fun. As someone born and raised in South Orange County, I was so excited to find something this good right here by home. Usually I have to drive far for quality horror experiences, so this was a total win. If you’re into immersive scares, paranormal vibes, and creepy investigations — Ghost Hunters is absolutely worth trying. Can’t wait to see how it grows… I’ll definitely be back as they said they change up the story line for Halloween 💀👀

A really fun game with memorable moments. This game is amplified by how you get along with your group and play along with the actors. It’s not an escape room. More of an immersive event. Acting is decent however at its core there’s a lot that could be done to make this epic. One may not like the game because there are no puzzles, the game is in pitch black most of the time, heavy crawling and minimal special effects/ minimal set to look at. But we had a lot of fun and our group enjoyed it. Left exhilarated and excited.
