Overall not a bad room.
One very ambiguous puzzle, and a couple of "time-waster" math problems
I liked the layout, and most of the puzzles were solid.
Pretty standard escape room. Most of the pieces worked well together. Nice balance of easy clues, and difficult clues. Not bad over all.
For better or worse, the room was pretty barebones apart from the puzzle elements. But what was there was solid.
Very attentive and polite staff. Would definitely recommend them.
Particularly interesting or different
No
Nothing really stood out for this particular room.
Mmmm, the story was fine. It wasn't particularly interesting, but it did not feel contrived, and it fit the room pretty well.
One puzzle was very ambiguous, and there were a couple of "time-waster" math problems, but otherwise, pretty average.
Maybe one or two surprises here, but nothing's going to catch you off-guard if you've played other rooms.
As two relatively seasoned escapists, two was the perfect number. Four would be the most I'd want on this room without it feeling a little ... cozy.
Nothing a mysterious mansion shouldn't have. Honestly, the starkness of the room overall contributed to the atmosphere.
Chess pieces were not in proper starting spots.
