This was probably one of my favorite rooms I’ve ever done. The spooky factor took it to the next level. A+++

You and your friends started your trip to the countryside in the best of moods. But a wrong turn on the road, has you wandering in the wilderness. Darkness has already fallen when suddenly, you spotted a source of light. As you approached, you saw an imposing building from another era and a huge sign above its entrance door: DREAMS HOTEL! You decided then, to spend the night here, but when its doors slammed behind you, you already knew that the Dream was about to turn into a Nightmare!

We really enjoyed this room, even though half of our team does not like scary rooms. Great set and some cool effects, one in particular was something we’ve never seen before! Some jump scares but nothing too horrible. It was fun!

This was our second room at Game Over. First of all, their decor was quite inviting, and the room felt quite "clean" and maintained. Secondly, customer service was excellent with our game master Gaby following the game proactively. About the room... it's a scary one with well placed jump scares (just keep that in mind when bringing people to the experience). We enjoyed this room! It flowed nicely in an immersive, spooky atmosphere. The spaces had a quality of simplicity about them which added to the atmosphere and aided with the gameplay. The set pieces in the game worked wonderfully, leading to "woah!" moments. The puzzles themselves weren't that difficult if you're a group of experienced players but the variety will keep you excited. I will mention that there is one puzzle that could feel overly time consuming in the grand scheme of things so make sure you maintain a decent pace to add buffer for that puzzle (you will know when you get there). While they have a 3 tiered automated hinting system (think "nudge" , "help" , and "full explanation" aka "Emergency"), we appreciated the direct interactions with our GM, Gaby. She was proactively following our game and seemed invested in our progress.
Linear gameplay with good flow, novel set pieces and sets.
Immersive, excellent props, sound effects on point. Scary atmosphere .
Gaby was a great GM! Helpful, interested and proactive. The other staff were welcoming too.
Yes
Scary components well executed! Several "woah" moments.
Well woven into actual gameplay.
Medium
I'd say medium for a group of experienced players, hard for a group with mostly inexperienced players. What worked for us (group of 3 seasoned players), is that we didn't get stuck too long because each player was able to approach the puzzles differently. Keen observation is helpful for this room.
High tech
Behind the scenes could be mechanical but your interactions are more high tech. Not as many physical locks.
4
While the game could be done with 2 seasoned pros, a scary room is more fun with a group of 3-4. For that one puzzle I mentioned that could be time consuming, a group of 4 would be more efficient. Too many would get crowded and dilute the atmosphere.
Well executed jump scares amidst an immersive and haunting atmosphere.

Mostly not physically demanding but some crouching could be required to access a puzzle in the initial part.

This game was my favorite at this location. A lot of fun interactions and I must say that the “elevator” is really well done with how it operates. Could it be better? Sure but it’s a great element to the game. “Upstairs” is equally as fun as the lobby. As with most of the games at this location they are very linear so not much to do for large groups. But this room is a must play for sure.
Spooky
Some jump scares but it’s well done.

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear that this game was your favorite at our location.
