Jurassic Escape

I would not recommend this room or this location sadly. This room and location being a franchise means it should hold some standards but it does not. The rooms set design was pretty good but it was not maintained. When it came to puzzles some things didn’t work smoothly and others just didn’t make sense. The clues that were given were also not helpful.

It was ok. But some leaps of logic required.

It was ok, not their worst room.

Did this room with a random group after the Watch Tower. Room was fine, theme was great, but several broken components soured the experience. The main feature of the room was broken, which led to it just being open and a red herring when the apparatus didn’t work. The final keypad also wasn’t functional, so after many lovely video and audio touches the GM just had to come in and announced we won which was very odd. Opening was a lot of fun, lots of really great touches just a bit too much wear and tear.

The puzzles weren’t intuitive and the room felt old and broken down. Frustrating.

We did this room as soon as it was introduced, so that might be part of the reason we had such a negative experience. Multiple things were broken, including the very start. Our GM refused to believe it was broken though, so we wasted 20 minutes waiting. The final door was left open accidentally, and another puzzle was missing parts. It was a very poor experience, and maybe it was due to it being new. However, I've found staff here to be mostly college it high school students working at a large chain, so they often don't pay as much attention to ensuring a good experience

The theming and decor were very immersive. Some of the puzzles were not very intuitive and there were times that it was clear that we had input the correct solution but it was not clear what happened as a result of it. The flow felt broken up because of that. Overall a cool experience and worth checking out.

The room design was good, but the some things didn’t work properly and some of the puzzles didn’t really go with the theme. still a decent game though

Very cool room with some really cool effects and decor—some of which is just decoration despite how important they seem.
