Puzzle-rich with a strong (if menacing) storyline. Parallel flow kept all of us busy the whole time. Our GM, Allison, was bright and engaged. We made it out with no hints!

Fairly fun theme and story. Great set design and use of space. Spooky premise but played for laughs. 90s themed. Would not recommend for too many people (we exceeded the limit by putting 7 people in and it got a little crowded). I think having too many people also allows for more accidental sequence breaking and losing track of the plot. Puzzles were fairly straightforward, sometimes a little finicky. Overall would recommend for maybe 4ish people.

It was ok. I didn't hate it, but also didn't love it. Three of the mechanisms didn't work right away and it left us looking for something else instead of moving on with the next part of the puzzle.

A good retro light scare room. Fun set, cool progression. Story beats and nonlinear puzzle path for the most part. Not overwhelmingly scary. A highlight of 60out rooms.
Searching, non linear
Solid set design, good sense of progression
Great service here!

The game flow didn’t make sense at all even for a non linear game. Things open when they weren’t supposed to. Just overall didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing.

Fun game, where you have to look at all the small details. Only downfall is you have to listen to long out recordings in order to start some of the puzzles, which makes the time longer

We were busy most of the time with different types of puzzles, and they were not too difficult. The story was simple and fine, nothing extraordinary. The only complain that I have is that it was a bit less scary than what I expected, so I would personally put it in the thriller category rather than scary.

We tackled Case 93 at 60Out’s Silver Lake location and were genuinely impressed! Heads-up: the building is a little tricky to find—keep your eyes peeled, especially if you’re not familiar with the area. Once inside though, it’s smooth sailing. This room is one of their newer offerings, so we noticed it doesn’t have many reviews on Morty yet. That gave us some hesitation, but the few ratings it did have were positive—so we went for it, and we’re glad we did. The set design is immersive and takes you straight back to 1993. It’s got that nostalgic flair that feels thoughtful without being gimmicky. Props and decor were on-theme, and you could tell a lot of detail went into the overall atmosphere. The puzzles were varied and satisfying to work through. If you’re someone who gets tired of combination locks, don’t worry—this room features a refreshing mix of tasks, mechanisms, and logic-based challenges. There’s definitely an emphasis on teamwork, not just in the general “work together” way, but with a few surprises that actually split up the group for part of the experience. That twist was unexpected but super fun and made for a memorable moment. We did Case 93 as the first room of a multi-room day, and it was a fantastic warm-up—challenging, clever, and entertaining without being overwhelming. Our group left energized and excited to do more. Highly recommend giving this one a shot if you want something unique, well-paced, and fun. 9/10 overall. Can’t wait to see more new rooms from this location!
