You’re about to inherit a vast historic estate—if you can clear your name of murder. You are Robert Montgomerie, the only remaining direct heir to the Kildermorie Estate and the Montgomerie family fortune. You’re attending a family gathering hosted by your Grandfather, Hugh ‘Monty’ Montgomerie, the 9th Earl of Kildermorie, to celebrate the dawn of the new Millennium. As the guests raise a toast, a scream fills the air…and your Grandfather is found dead in the library. It looks like MURDER, and as the direct heir, all fingers are now pointed at you! This was a hard but approachable one. The atmosphere was fantastic, most of the puzzles were clever and satisfying to solve, and the story flowed well with the progression of the room. I wouldn't recommend this to escape room beginners, as it's the hardest rated room for Escapology.
Very fun gameplay overall. There was one puzzle that we wouldn't have figured out on our own without a nudge from the GM (and there wasn't any context clues to point you in that direction). The piano puzzle was my favorite.
Well done on the mansion aesthetic.

There are some puzzles involving color. Sometimes the dimness of the room may make it hard for some folks to see properly, even without vision correction. (They do provide flashlights).

This was the first ever room I did not escape from. This is a hard room but well done. The theme is good the puzzles were great. I have only two critiques about it. The first is that the last room you enter, you basically do nothing in it, the room does not seem needed except to keep it linear which could have been done differently. The second is that there is one puzzle the is nearly impossible to figure out without help do the game master. They also got enough customers getting one piece of that puzzle wrong often enough that they officially changed the answer to be two different items. To me, that means that the puzzle is not well done and made me angry that we had spent so much time on it due to this. (The change came well after I did the room, but customers still need help in order to understand the puzzle more often than not.)
