Captain's Dungeon

When I was reading the reviews, I didn't think this would be a good room, but it turned out to be really great! Don't base your experience off previous reviews. The room was linear, the clues made sense, the game master was just the right amount of help. I was pleasantly surprised with this room and the aesthetic as well. Will definitely be going back to do the other rooms here!

There were a good amount of puzzles but the story connecting the puzzle didn’t flow other than, it’s pirates! Most puzzles were low mechanical with some not giving enough information to solve. Not one of my top ones

I had only done one other room before this one, and took five others with me who had never done a room before. We had a blast. It took quite a few hints, but the owner/game master was fantastic, giving clues that helped put us on the right track without taking away the fun of figuring it out. The one downside for me was that they didn’t go through any of the lock types ahead of time, so when we got to some of them - like the directional lock - we weren’t sure how to use it, or how to reset it. So time was wasted figuring that out and getting hints for that. A quick explanation of the locks for newbies would have been helpful.

This was such a good/fun time. The room is definitely 100% for kiddos. It’s a very linear room if you like that design. Overall good aesthetic and fun room.
