Holy hell, there are so many puzzles and locks and possibilities! This room has cool set pieces at times, and the amount of content plus the ambiguity of puzzles provides the difficulty. With so many input options, it can be hard to know what goes where, and early on, puzzles can feel less intuitive. The first part of the game is smaller, more difficult, and overstays its welcome. The second part offers more diversity in props, puzzles, and the environment. This is a room for experienced players or people looking for a challenge. Lots of connections must be made to succeed.
A puzzle gauntlet! Occasionally ambiguous or underclued, but the puzzles are still satisfying to solve and provide a lot of work for the team. The final puzzle of the game requires a little tedious work, but the adrenaline will get you through!
It looks like a creepy motel! A mid-game gate is a supremely satisfying transition.
The GM was great, and they even paused the game and provided additional support when puzzles were maybe broken or if a piece was suspected to be missing.
The development of the disappearances at Kate's Motel had an expected but satisfying payoff. The ending was anticlimactic (our GM even warned us of this prior to starting), but the path to get there was a gratifying struggle.
You will have to use a lot of abstraction and observational skills to make the necessary connections on some puzzles. There is an obscene amount of content and enough ambiguity that hints will be needed.
Even though traditional locks abound, there are some cool pieces of tech embedded throughout.
4 pros or 6 newer players. You need good communication!
There are elements scattered throughout that may irk squeamish players, and there are a couple small jump scares that are easy to predict (but they provide more entertainment than thrills).
Some puzzles didn't seem to respond to the proper input, and others relied on extensive organization. Our GM deftly and graciously handled these issues to avoid an unnecessary defeat.

There is one puzzle that is slightly challenging to complete and may actively fall apart on you. With all the content, you may be running around at the end.
