Ordo Sanctus

Ordo Sanctus by Escape Room Dordrecht was a very enjoyable experience for our team of four, all of whom have played many rooms together and complement each other well in puzzle-solving styles. That synergy made the experience flow seamlessly for us. This room is just 6 months old, so everything feels fresh and well-maintained. The environment was immersive, but what truly stood out was the audio design—sound effects added constant tension, and when combined with dynamic lighting, brought the entire setting to life. The puzzles followed a more traditional style, with locks and codes, but were thoughtfully integrated into the setting, which helped maintain the immersion. We completed the room with 14 minutes left on the clock. The owner was super nice and caring—after we finished, he even gave us the chance to experience the final sequence a second time to truly take it in, which was a lovely gesture. Being a newer room, some minor updates are still in progress. The intro video is currently only in Dutch, though an English version is expected soon. A couple of puzzles also contained Dutch text, which the owners plan to localize in the near future. A solid and reliable escape room that leans into traditional puzzling, elevated by great audiovisual design and warm hosting. Strongly recommended for players of all levels.
