Just super cheaply made. Single room experiences can be great but this wasn’t worth the cost. Some puzzles clear and easy some much harder. Honestly just a bit disappointing and too reliant on weak tech.

Alright.. This may get a little descriptive, but I mean well.

The room itself, in terms of concept was good. The storyline, the puzzle choices. Etc.. interestingly enough, the concept was there, the idea is solid. Let me put that out there. However.. that's sort of where.. it stops..

The room itself is obviously from an older room that was simply re-masked as this new game. That being said? There was a lot to be desired about what this room turned out to be.

Exposed wires. Broken items. Cheaper equipment. Lazy development. Poor description. Strange tech choices. Abrupt ending..

The immersion level gave such an outdated vibe, that its almost as if they had no choice but to release the room unfinished?

The ending was simply... put this code in - "now please call the front desk and tell us you're done.." no fancy screens.. nothing that screamed SUPERHERO other than the simple parts of the theme.

The price? Was abysmal. $70 for a subpar experience. The original rooms that were there? We're MUCH BETTER than this newest room was..

Some of the puzzles were so finicky that if you didnt have a dial placed in the EXACT... LITERALLY... EXXXACCCTTT little spot? It would not activate. 1 puzzle was so far out in terms of execution to design, that when you used the "HOW TO SOLVE" option with the QR code, it still made my head turn.

Regardless? This room had some saving graces.. the concept of bringing comics into the final puzzle, the order of operations was good, it's definitely not linear though. This "tech based" room? Was fairly outdated in terms of what was presented for $70.

I have done rooms that are slightly more expensive but provided near movie quality immersion, vs this experience.

It felt unfinished. It felt rushed. It was abrupt. It was very strange in terms of expectation vs outcome?

My partner and I got out. But our time was probably 10min slower due to the fickleness and unfamiliar settings of the overall experience.

I usually rate out of 10. This room was probably only a 5/10. I'd give it a 6/10.. because I like Green Arrow...

Anyway. Don't let my review detour your want to do this room! It needs some attention. With a few fixes. Maybe a touch more time and effort. It could be a room worth doing again if it changes.

As of right now though? Pretty sure the new ownership has driven us away from potentially doing the other new room.
