Gates of Atlantis

This is definitely better for a small group. We were 5 people and it was too crowded. It also is a very linear room so it got boring for some people at times, which again lends itself to less people at a time in this room. Otherwise, the puzzles were good and the tech was fun.

Very well set-up room. The theme was very nicely put together and stayed coherent throughout. The puzzles were reasonable and my wife and I enjoyed the set-up where the hints (if asked for) were automated based on where you were in the room, a nice little touch. That said… due to this gimmick of having the automated hints, in order to enable this the game has to be EXTREMELY linear with only one puzzle at a time to solve. This lent itself well to us as it was just the two of us. But if you have a larger group be ready to have people standing around as it is a bit of a cramped space and multiple people can’t be solving one puzzle all at once.

Rating: 4/5 - Atmospheric, tech filled room, great for small groups Pros: ➕Fully tech based, there wasn't a single padlock, everything worked. ➕Set was appropriately themed with great lighting and audio that added to the immersion. ➕Puzzles were fun, varied, and fairly straightforward, nothing illogical. ➕More than a single room to explore. ➕GM was friendly and attentive. Mixed feelings: ➕/➖Gameplay is fully linear, this is fine for smaller groups but may be an issue for teams of more than 2-3. Cons: ➖Story wasn't the clearest. ➖Some parts of the set looked worse than others. Due to the linear nature, I'd recommend this for 2 enthusiasts. I completed this solo (paid for 2 tickets) with 9 min left.

I was really looking forward to this game. I had played all of their rooms in a previous marathon of rooms and loved all of them. This room was no exception and we had a really fun time. The setting is beautiful and all of the rooms and puzzle pieces had an authentic feel of being from an ancient place. My only quibble was with a disk puzzle in the beginning. The side that needed to be facing up wasn't as decorative as the other side so we used up some time trying to solve the puzzle. The puzzles were fun and challenged us and I think you will enjoy the flow. It's a small space so I do recommend that you take a small group.

Room had fun puzzles and the theme was great. As an experienced player with one other person who hadn’t played a game before it was fairly easy still. If you have played a bunch I wouldn’t show up with more than 4 since it’s a bit on the easier side, even though it’s ranked as a middle of the pack in relation to their rooms. Had a great time and definitely would recommend.

Enjoyed Atlantis and introduced family to their first room. Good puzzle flow, only one that we guessed the sequence rather than finding the key to determining the sequence. Looking forward to their other rooms sometime.

A very well done escape room. Room is fairly linear which can be a detriment but is handled very well here. One or two of the puzzles were a tad easier than desired but overall very little complaints and would certainly recommend the room to experienced or beginner players
