Botanica Greenhouse

Botanical Greenhouse was a very artsy unique room. More art than room, but didn’t let up on the puzzles either! We loved the unique art pieces and couldn’t help but admire all the love and attention in here. You can fell the love poured into this experience. Colorful plants and flowers, fun sidekicks, and clever puzzles with lighting and sound make Botanical Greenhouse a great game. I enjoyed our visit to Daydream and hope to return in the future.

Visually impressive, quirky, and whimsical game that is impossible not to love. There are things you have to do in this game that are unique and downright weird (in a good way). As a result, the puzzles are super fun and rememberable. The story isn’t that deep but it is told in an enjoyable, humorous way. The ending is hilarious. You can easily do this room with 2 people, but we still had a good time with 3. Not a dull moment in this room, I enjoyed it all the way through. Easily a must play room in the Toronto area in a region packed with amazing rooms. We met one of the owners at their other location and she was very kind and fun to talk escape rooms with.

Rating: 4.5/5 - Fantastic, whimsical game with fun puzzles and tech. If Meow Wolf made an escape room. Pros: ➕The set is wonderful with huge custom built plants and props, it's so artistic and unique. The vibe reminds me of Meow Wolf but with a cohesive style. Everything is vibrant and filled with details. ➕Interesting, weird storyline and characters that made me smile, it had a satisfying ending. ➕Very large space with multiple rooms to discover and explore. ➕Great lighting and audio/music. ➕Love the puzzle style and flow, everything made sense and fit into the universe of the game. Some things were more task-like which I enjoy. Overall it gave me so much joy. ➕Some teamwork needed ➕Almost everything is tech with only a couple padlocks. The tech is interactive and tactile, lots of fun moments. ➕GM was friendly and attentive Minor nitpicks: ➖Some parts of the set feel a bit plain, particularly the grey walls, flooring, and ceiling. We played as a team of 3 enthusiasts with plenty of time left, one nudge used. I'd recommend 3 players. 1-2 players may need to crawl. My ranking of the Daydream rooms (all locations) starting with my favorite: 1. Botanica Greenhouse (Brimley) 2. Dream Portal (Danforth)

a cool escape room! i think i liked it less than other reviewers. our room had some technical difficulties with the sound track which made puzzles more difficult than they should have been and made us need to get a hint, which hopefully was a strange one off problem and not a regular occurrence. there was also a second mechanical element that didn't function as intended which caused us to accidentally break the game at the finale and have to ask for it to be fixed. the mechanical elements and designs were very impressive, it was cool how many moving parts and big set pieces there were, i loved the theme! some of the puzzles seemed too easy/not really puzzles, like we were just following instructions moreso than having to put pieces of information together. i get that this room is more about the spectacle and theming, but i don't think that means the puzzles can't be stepped up. all in all a very cool room that could maybe use a second pass of polish

This was a dynamite room — so pretty, so colourful, so joyous and unique. The fantastic set was highlighted by the incredible botanical creations that combined sublime design, craftsmanship, and animatronics. The tech was also seamless and the puzzles were varied, requiring both brains and physicality. Loved the the soundtrack choices too. A super fun and memorable experience!

Absolutely stunning. Everything is handcrafted by artists and the best part is that they let you bring your phone in to take pictures. The puzzles were a good level, can be easily followed. Good for all ages.

Puzzles 🧩: 9/10 Set/Wow Factor ✨: 8.5 /10 Story/Immersion 🔮: 8.5/10 Fun factor 🤘: 9/10 We wrapped up our "Interstellar Botanical Expedition" at the Botanica Greenhouse a few weekends ago and it is a remarkably well-constructed room that leans heavily into a highly satisfying, hands-on experience. The physical build of this room is fantastic. The set design is robust (for kids) and gorgeous, creating an environment that is a genuine tactile pleasure to explore. The puzzles are where this room truly shines, they are incredibly fun to solve, chunky, and encourage you to just play around. The gameplay is elevated by how seamlessly the puzzles are integrated into the story. There are clever callbacks woven throughout the game, and the interactions have some genuinely great humour built in. Our only critique comes down to the room's technical audio balance. We experienced some frustrating issues with the speakers being too quiet or muffled. It made it difficult to hear the story beats and the hint system, which unfortunately took a slight edge off an otherwise highly immersive narrative. Overall, despite the audio hiccups, Botanica Greenhouse is a fantastic, premium-feeling room with excellent puzzle flow and a great sense of humour. A highly memorable and fun expedition that is well worth playing and good for families!

Such a fun game! Beautiful decor, fun puzzles that make you use your brain AND are interactive. I loved how story-driven their games were! Thank you for welcoming us at both your locations:)
