281 escape rooms
Following Paradox and our back-to-back escape room day, we tackled Ruins of the Mystic Temple. While I would say this is the easier game between Paradox and Frost Base Z, I enjoyed the ending here the most. The story is that our archaeological team had discovered an artifact that we believed could lead us to an ancient Mayan treasure. Of course, itβs not that easy to just take the treasure. The technology embedded in this room is seamless and core gameplay is around scavenging, making connections, and puzzling. I thought the puzzles flowed well and this would definitely have spoiled me if I were a newer escape room player. It would set the standard for all escape rooms! Gorgeous set and the puzzles worked once we put in the correct inputs. There is a journal that did not help too much. I do wish they added more pages. Even if the pages included flavor text that did not necessarily relate to puzzles. It looked so empty!
