Many years ago a curse was put on this ship and the entire crew for their sins. Since that wretched night, they have been capturing people at sea and holding them captive with the hope that they might be the ones to help break the spell, but no one has even come close. After you are caught, can you release everyone from this dark spell, or will you become a part of the cursed crew like so many before you?

This was a pretty fun room! The puzzles were good, but a bit worn out. The GM would sometimes pipe up to let us know where exactly to place something to make it trigger, since things were a little finicky. The help was much appreciated, but it does take you a bit out of the experience, so it’s unfortunate that it’s needed. Overall this was a good room and I’d recommend it. I’ve had some good and some very bad experiences with 60Out, so I’m happy to say that this was one of the good ones.
I enjoyed a lot of these puzzles!
It was pretty creepy at times.
Very friendly and seemed like he was an escape room enthusiast too.

Might be a little gorey for some people at times, but overall it’s not scary at all.

Several puzzles seemed pretty worn out. One of them had pieces broken off, so we needed a flashlight to shine on something we weren’t supposed to be able to see, which was a little disappointing.

Pretty accessible. A wheelchair would have a hard time with one spot, but not everyone would have to go up that step.

Had to pay $2 for a 2-hour meter a block away.

We did this room last minute after going Grandmas master plan. Our GMs were super awesome and friendly and made our experience great. Puzzles were creative, but there are a few parts where we needed a nudge from our GM to let us know that something opened. We managed to escape and overall it is a good room to do with a small group.

Puzzles flowed well into the next. Very simple mechanics but done well into the theme. Old School escape room. Nice environment design.

Heavy wear and tear, dark room, ambiguous clues, and we managed to guess the final puzzle by luck 🤣 There were a couple pieces of tech we’ve never seen before, so that was fun

Ghost Ship - Held against our will on a cursed ship of angry ghosts, we hand to find away to escape fast. Pros: The rooms at 60 Out vary quite a bit making it difficult to talk generally about them as a group. The set design on some of the rooms (Titanic for instance) is stellar and far exceeded our expectations. Others are more typical of middle-of-the-road escape rooms. The puzzles are all generally logical with some games being more physical than mental. Yet, all the rooms were enjoyable to play and the puzzles mostly solvable. We had a great experience with all of the game masters who monitored our progress closely and provided assistance when needed. Overall we enjoyed our games at 60 Out and highly recommend visiting all of their rooms in the various locations in the Los Angeles area. Cons: We had a few mechanical difficulties in some of the more technologically complex rooms and at least one or two puzzle fails in games where poor puzzle design hindered our progress. These rooms were excellent overall. We found 60 Out, specifically Titanic and Grandma's MasterPlan, to be among our top ten favorite escape room experiences. Do not pass up the opportunity to play their games if you are in Southern California.

This was the first of our two rooms at this location, it is enjoyable but there was definitely a lot in this room. Like it felt like it just kept going and at the end we were like can you just give us clues so we can escape. Overall enjoyable but like jumanji way better.

2 escape rooms
2 of us escaped this room with basically 30 seconds left. This is the second room we’ve done together and I’ve done 2 more outside of LA (so we’re experienced but not experts). Though we ended up cutting it close, I still think 2 was an okay number since there’s no puzzle that’s more than 2-handed really, but 3 or 4 people might get you out faster. It was labeled hard so we expected to not make it out and to be fair, we required hints in the later half. (Thank you to our GM whose name I’m sorry I forgot but was great and working solo on a holiday!) The first half we pretty much breezed through (it’s fairly intuitive and if you’ve done escape rooms before or do puzzles often some actions will be familiar to you) but it was fun and immersive and the theming was great (sound effects, props, puzzle designs). Good amount of puzzles and some good variety of puzzles too. Possibly because of age/overuse there were a few small mechanical things (we didn’t realize we did a puzzle right bc we didn’t hear something else open, stuff like that) but it was mostly pretty smooth. Because of the theme, the lighting is very low, some of the puzzles required some genuine squinting. So just prepare yourself for that aspect! I would recommend this room for sure. It’s not scary btw, just has some ghostly sound effects and skeletal props, but not much in the jump scare arena (which personally I like).
There was technically a story but it’s really more about theme

It’s Melrose. Street parking is around but depends on the day (we were there on a holiday so no issue)
