When the Von Krogh family are found poisoned, Varg becomes the only suspect in their deaths. Now he must fight to restore his missing memories and clear his own name. Overkill continues story elements from the previous game, 'Last Rites' but absolutely no knowledge of this (or other Varg stories) is required to enjoy this mystery! With 20 novels and 12 feature films, Varg Veum is one of Norway's great literary heroes. Varg Veum: Overkill is officially licensed and endorsed by Varg's author: Gunnar Staalesen.

36 escape rooms

We really loved this room! It’s their newest, and it has a really fun mystery-solving structure, with some very cool prop interactions. Easily one of the best escape room “stories” we’ve played (non obvious, internally consistent, interesting). It has some callbacks to a previous room but we didn’t feel like we were missing anything even though we’d never heard of Varg Veum. We played Hansearic League first and then this one, and I recommend that order— it’s a nice snapshot of how escape rooms have developed over the last 10 years (and you’ll finish on a “high”)
