A very fun room! We loved the design and the puzzles. We all worked together very well on this one. We enjoyed it much better than Focustec Labs. The attention to detail on this was awesome. Again the employees are great.

Great room (as all at Grapevine Escape are). Well-themed, flowed really well, difficult but everything made sense and was logical. Unique theme (well-tailored for the area) and puzzles that kept your interest. A really fun room - highly recommend!

We had a great time at The Wine Vault. The staff was very friendly and we were surprised to learn that we could purchase unlimited alcoholic drinks for 20 dollars at the start of the experience. The puzzles flowed well, and although there weren’t any revolutionary twists or turns, the puzzles were all satisfying to complete. Overall, this is a great mom and pop escape room with well thought out puzzles.

The room was ok, some clever puzzles and decent atmosphere. Though one of the keypads was not working and they interrupted our game play with many unrequested clues. However, the staff, while very friendly, was very overbearing. We arrived 10 minutes early for our room and then sat in the lobby being bombarded with rules and over explanation of the locks, and a meandering rambling explanation of the story. 25 minutes later we were finally led into the room. Once we were in the room we watched another video explaining the room rules and locks followed by a very poorly produced video intro of the room. I felt exhausted by the time we finally started. The staff was very friendly just not very professional. The 25 minutes of meandering exposition could be replaced with a 30 second rules video and a 60 second plot video. That should be more than enough to explain even to a beginner escape room patron. It was not all bad, they did have some nice touches. It was out friends birthday and she received a card from the staff.

Our staff is trained to explain the escape room process while producing a theatrical storytelling personality however, we can always follow your lead and desires. Next time you come in, tell our staff that you prefer to skip the instructions and storylines and go directly into the escape adventure. We will make sure we cater to your specific needs. The room is fine. Game master and owners spends way too much time explaining the rules and there’s few things more frustrating than being over- explained how locks work. Happened on both rooms we’ve played at this location. Lots of self promotion for average rooms. The theming here is nice and it’s a spacious room with adequate puzzles. I wouldn’t rave about it but it was fun. Same for their science lab room.

We enjoyed this room. Our favorite part was the homemade glass wine bottle puzzle. Puzzles here are linear. Online recommends four people or more, but we did it with 2 without issue. The game master was very responsive, you get unlimited clues, and they also chime in if they think you need a hint to ensure you can finish the room. They also offer drinks while you play here.

Atmosphere fit the theme, the wine bottle puzzle was home made and lit up making it pretty cool.
