Started our marathon with this game and not disappointed, thanks for a fun time!
We really enjoyed this one. Challenging at first being split into two teams who had to figure out how to communicate.
Surprised that the set design was so good!
Great staff, thanks McKenzie!

Thereβs a split start in this room. Iβm usually fine with split starts, and some of my favorite games even use them. However, this one was probably one of the most frustrating Iβve ever experienced. Communication between the team is largely done through headphones and microphone that are wired to an unmovable base. The puzzles are esoteric and complex enough that itβs difficult to communicate without being next to the puzzle data that you canβt reach with the headphones and mic. So basically, in this scenario where communication is important, the designers have made it inherently difficult to communicateβ¦ The rest of the room is basically guess and check surrounded by a checklist of tasks, so I assume the split start part was skewed hard to account for how easy everything after is. The tech is nice as always in their rooms, even though its implementation here was more confusing than not. I liked the ending, but I cannae recommend the journey to it.

We found The Bureau on a previous visit and were impressed from the start! It felt like a puzzle from the moment we walked in the front door. Lab at Loch Ness was very fun. The technology and graphics of certain things involved made it very exciting and immersive. Even with a larger group where some puzzles werenβt even touched or looked at by everyone, everyone felt like they were involved and contributed.

Maybe it was just us, but boy we had a hard time with this at the beginning! It starts as a split room with your group in two separate rooms, and your communication has to be particularly clear to each other. Harder than other split rooms weβve done. Really great theme though and lots of clever puzzles.

Special effects were really cool, but felt some additional puzzles would have helped. Communication was difficult at first since it was hard to hear. I didnβt feel like that added to the theme.

Very fun!! Splitting up wasnβt my favorite because the communication device was only accessible to one person but the theming was AWESOME and it had very fun and immersive effects!!!

This was a fine room - nothing really groundbreaking, but it was still fun. Covey was an awesome host, set was awesome, and there were no issues; it just felt like βoh, and now we do this.β Puppet Heist over this for sure, but itβs worth playing if you want a room.
Nothing really new in terms of concept. Starts isolated, but you merge about halfway through. Does break the cardinal βone and doneβ rule but itβs telegraphed enough.
Only one real special effect, but it was done really well.
Covey was awesome! Could not have asked for a better GM.

Eh. Starting in two rooms is a standard practice, and the way communication was done was⦠not my favorite.
Standard story - no real twists or loops.
Medium
Communication at the start was brutal but the puzzles themselves were fine.
High tech
High tech - machines, wires, pressure, etc.
6
Definitely 2 players per room would be good - but not more than 3 as then it could be a little stepping over each other.
Not scary
Slightly dark lighting if anything.
8
A child may struggle with the communication aspect a bit more.

Nothing physical beyond walking.
Audio is crucial for communication in this room, as there is no way to see the other group BEFORE the merge.
