A new room at this place. Very well done. We had a lot of fun.

This was a great room! Logical flow and fun puzzles!

A fun room that was huge steps above the room that was previously there. It’s themed after Indiana Jones and the various cults he has faced. It’s a mostly dark room, with a few fun surprises and transitions. Nothing crazy though but the creators clearly worked with what they had. There was a lock accidentally left open, and some cases where we could just not find what something unlocked. But we still had a good time and even made the record on the leaderboard as a team of 2! We whipped it real good!

1st time visiting Troubled Puzzles Escapes (Grayslake) and was pleasantly surprised. Cryptic Conspiracy had good flow, sets, and the puzzles were fun. Game is definitely on the easier side and it was what our group of 3 was looking for on a random evening. GM (Adele) was extremely friendly and enthusiastic. We did not ask for any hints, but she gave us a few confirmations along the way. She even let us peak into a few of their other rooms after we were done, in hopes of getting us to come back again. Overall, nothing spectacular in this room but everything worked well, we were treated very well, and we had a fun experience. We will be coming back to play another room.

If you’re looking to blast a hole in a wall into a crypt to stop a secret cabal of people from plotting to end the world, give this room a try. The puzzles flowed well and my partner and I only needed minimal clues to prod us in the right direction. This is our second game here and we’ll be back to finish more.

This was my 3rd escape room at this location and my favorite so far. My kids and I came to play knowing it was a new game, but not knowing we were the first team to play (other than beta tests) which was a cool bonus. I really love seeing how escape rooms grow and improve as they build new games and this is no exception. There were some really cool unexpected moments and solid puzzles.
