Scorched seems like it's seen better days but it's still a very fun room to play. I think it's just lacking maintenance and could be perfect with some TLC. Only rating thumbs down because I think a lot of these issues could be fixed fairly fast but it's obvious that some parts of the game have been broken for a while and have gotten worse with time. The game is interesting and makes you think, plus the staff is funny and helpful!
the game would have been more immersive if the GM didn't have to come in bc something wasn't working or didn't come on the mic all the time because of broken things. Otherwise, it really felt like you were in an abandoned house being burnt down
GM was fantastic, especially for having a lot of things being broken. She stayed nice throughout the game even if we accidentally touched broken things more than once. Clues were done riddle style which I enjoyed but she would clarify if we asked
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
the story is good but a lot of the details are red herrings
there are probably 2 or three random things broken that don't affect the game and the GM tells you not to touch it. one of the maglock doors didn't release and the GM had to come in to fix it.
climbing, ducking, lots of walking
