Iffy
12 haunts
This is a MN State Fair staple! It's pretty basic as far as haunts go, but it's still a lot of fun. I also just love that it's open in August. It's definitely worth checking it out, and it's always been cheap ($5 a person).
Scary
Scary
I personally don't find it very scary, but it definitely can be for people with a low scare tolerance.
Atmosphere
It's pretty dark in there, so you're unfortunately not able to see and appreciate all of the set design, but what I was able to make out looked really well done. My favorite part's always the haunted forest and the steps you go up or down throughout the space; there's lights underneath each row that give it an eerie, isolating feel.

Originality
Yes
The incorporation of stairs makes moving through the attraction pretty interesting, though it does mean anyone with mobility aides wouldn't be able to experience it very easily, or at all.
Minimum age
12
There isn't anything that'd be too much for younger kids, but I'd say make your own judgement call. I went through by myself when I was 14 'cause my Dad didn't want to do it, hahah.
Physically active
Somewhat
Constantly moving through from beginning to end.
Accessibility
It's very dark inside, so probably not the best choice for anyone with vision impairments. The stairs are the main issue for sure.
Customer service
There's a lot of staff working this attraction (not counting the scare actors) from beginning to end. All were friendly and welcoming. There's people standing in certain spots throughout the space with flashlights to guide you in the right direction. One of them called out 'have fun!' To us :)
Wait time
No wait
We went around 7:30pm on a Wednesday. It was a record low attendance for the fair, so I don't know if that would be a factor or not.
Duration
< 15 min
It's short, but may seem longer if you scare easy.
Physicality
None
Some will reach out to you, or pop out of a hiding spot, but never any touching.
Warnings
No, pretty standard/generic when it comes to the themeing.
Bathrooms
None
Though I will say the fair's bathrooms as a whole have improved significantly within the last decade.
Parking
I always take the park and ride. Parking for the fair is a nightmare and very expensive.
