The puzzles were entertaining but having a GM in the room was so awkward… no it wasn’t a live actor either.

Madge McCarthy, the neighborhood’s beloved (and slightly eccentric) cat lady, is in a full-blown crisis. Her beloved kitty, Whiskers, has mysteriously vanished — just hours before her biggest night of the year: the Double or Nothing Bingo Jackpot. As the community’s favorite bingo caller, Madge has never missed a game… but Whiskers hasn’t had his dinner, and she refuses to leave without him. With time running out, Madge turns to you — her trusty neighbors — to help track down her furry companion. Whiskers could be anywhere in her cluttered, cat-loving home… Can you uncover the clues, outwit the chaos, and reunite Madge with her beloved pet before the bingo balls start rolling?

I loved the decoration in this room, especially the wallpaper. The room was lovely and filled with tons of puzzles, a mix of lock-based and tech-based challenges. It definitely requires at least four people (or three if you’re experienced), since many of the puzzles are layered within other puzzles, which takes extra time to solve. Our GM was great and helpful.

The game and the set are great, and for the most part, the puzzles are plenty and super fun. However, we had a GM who wasn’t supportive and thus we had a not-so-great experience. There were a couple of moments in which we asked for hints and the GM was incredibly unhelpful, which led to us losing a lot of time during a couple unnecessary bottleneck moments (eg a key component falling totally out of reach) and not completing the game (a first for us!). Super disappointing experience in what I do believe is an adorable and fun new game.

Madge is my future self. Ya’ll better be there to help me find my cat before bingo or we ain’t friends. I enjoyed this and the puzzles were solid. The theme is A+ because cat themes are the best themes.

Very cute room with a lot of interesting puzzles! A mix of lock-and-key and more immersive elements, with a lot of fun themed touches to the puzzles or the revealed solutions. The theme felt fresh and entertaining. It was a little crowded with a team of five but there was still plenty for all of us to do.

Solid, 2 people (advanced) beginners could get through in time. cute and well themed! Some fun surprises. Puzzles were pretty standard but fun and well signposted. There was one puzzle which seemed like a logical leap but others were good. Definitely lower budget. Lots of locks!!! Some props came off in my hand but didn’t affect the gameplay. The one weird thing is that the GM is in the room the whole time. The person we had was nice, but it felt strange and they gave pre-emptive hints that we didn’t really want (even if they thought we needed them). They also told us some things were “not important” like very early on. Why not let us figure it out? I think it’s an old building and they can’t get an intercom or cameras set up. EDIT: I should mention this was $72pp on a weekend (weekdays are less) for 1 hour game. I appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into all rooms but for this level of nice but not amazing set and puzzle design that is really too overpriced for me.
Very cute and doing a lot with a lower budget. Really looked like a sweet old lady’s apartment

If you love fun, logical puzzles in a cute, cat-centric setting, this one is definitely for you. Even though it's a small room, it's completely packed with satisfying puzzles. We did this with two people and we are both experienced enough. But it was a struggle because there is A LOT to do. If you do this with 2, you have to make sure you're moving along on a solid pace and working separately as there is a decent enough amount of nonlinearity. If you get stuck for too long, you just might not have enough time to do everything. It's a small room with a lot, so the perfect group size is 4. 3 ppl if you're experienced. 2 is doable if you're really experienced, and maybe take a hint if you're getting stuck on something for more than a few minutes. The puzzles themselves aren't necessarily super difficult, so this is just a sheer amount of puzzles thing. We provided feedback to the GM about one puzzle pretty much requiring outside knowledge. It wasted a lot of our time because we didn't ask for a hint soon enough lol. If you don't know it, you'd be stumbling around trying to guess. You might eventually hack the answer if you have enough escape experience, but at the cost of time. There's a second puzzle that also sort of requires outside knowledge, but this one isn't as bad and most people would probably know enough, especially with a few in-room clues, to figure this one out. Overall, we loved this room and it was so fun. But just like every room at this location, it's on the hard-ish side more than not. Puzzles are logical throughout and there are always a good amount of puzzles. But that's a good thing.
Super fun! Linear and nonlinear
It's a small apartment, but decorated and themed in a solid way

A mix of both. There are a lot of combo locks but the puzzles for them are fun and satisfying

Small room but A LOT to do. 4 is perfect to split tasks up. 3 if you're all good. 2 if you're escape room pros.

As with any game at this location, the GM is in the room with you. They assume a role of a character to immerse themself into the story, but mainly they stay out of your way and are just there to provide hints if you need any.

For the space that they had, they packed a whole lot of puzzles and I always rank highly having more puzzles in my experiences. They have more puzzles in this room than Black Dragon (at least it seemed like it). The puzzles were also deviously creative in using the simplest of resources! This is a great room to bring a bigger group. You could split the group up and it will allow for everyone to have something meaningful to do. I still remember laughing at a the bookcase puzzle so look out for that if you want a good chuckle. The premise is that we are helping an old lady find her cat, Whiskers. We get story, we get set design, and high puzzle count! Very cute and an added bonus if you are a cat lover like me 🐱

Very unique and fun room, I’m not a fan of the horror or scary themed rooms so this one was perfect for me. Full of cute and clever puzzles that fit the theme and environment. This was definitely family friendly and a breath of fresh air because it’s just fun and not stressful where I’m worried about something scary popping out at me. This room was very well thought out and everything worked amazingly. Our group had lots of fun!! Definitely recommend because whiskers is super cute! You’ll have to help midge find whiskers to get a glimpse of that cat he’s a tricky one to find.
The game was great for all members because there was lots of puzzles that are linear but in multiple lines, which meet up at points so it allows for everyone to be able to do something throughout the game.
Very immersive design, lots of attention to detail even down to the smells. This room definitely gets you into the game.
Loved the staff, very fun!

There were challenging puzzles for sure but overall, it wasn’t bad if you have a variety of people that are good at different puzzles.
