Griffin Gifford by Coven Escape Rooms was the 3rd game of Day 5 and the 14th room of our Athens Escape Tour 2026, played with the same team of five. This was also the 4th and final puzzle-focused room of our tour, and it was truly a delight. The experience is beautifully crafted from beginning to end, combining strong cinematic moments, a captivating story, and challenging puzzles. The lighting, sound design, and music are superb and help elevate the atmosphere throughout the game. The puzzles were quite demanding, with several of them having multiple layers of depth, which is what made the experience feel particularly unique and rewarding. By this point in the tour we were quite tired, which made the puzzles feel even tougher than usual, but it was still a very enjoyable challenge for the whole team. Overall, the game maintains a very high level of quality throughout, making it one of the standout puzzle experiences of the trip. I will most likely play it again on a future Athens tour focused on puzzle games, especially since my wife didnβt join us for this one and I would love for her to experience it as well. A must play for all players, though some escape room experience will help in fully appreciating the more complex puzzles.
