499 escape rooms
So here’s the thing. This room is about as un-fancy as an escape room can be. There’s nothing but locks (of all sorts). Locked drawers, locked cabinets, locked boxes, and locked doors. No technology more advanced than a blacklight, a weight-triggered button, and a keypad. But it is a nonstop wall-to-wall puzzlefest and that is my favorite kind of room. I thought it was great fun! The props are getting worn out and the aesthetic is decidedly old-school. But if you like puzzles, you should absolutely play this room!
Gameplay
If you like solving puzzles (and I do) then this room has by far the most puzzles of any of Bust Out’s 7 rooms (as of this writing).

Medium
On the hard side of medium because we played with 2 and there is a lot to do. With a larger group you could move faster and parallelize a few of the steps.

Mechanical
All locks and keys — this was their first room (possibly the first escape room in New Mexico). But I don’t mind locks and keys if the puzzles are good.
Ideal number of players
4
We played with 2 and got out, but an extra person or two probably wouldn’t hurt.
