The Mystery of Stillwater Asylum

When we arrived, the parking lot and the building was dark because the exterior lighting of the building was not working that evening. I was a bit worried about what we were going to expect. In the lobby, parts of the ceiling were missing, so I was thinking there’s probably some work being done and I’m feeling even more worrisome. But the room was fantastic! The puzzles were straightforward. Very familiar to enthusiasts. The set design was very simple and not scary. It could definitely use a facelift to make it much darker. Pretty fun room and would be great for first timers and family!

Really fun place, the GM was fantastic and because we were the only ones gave extra time. I highly recommend this place in Fountain Valley.

it was fun but definitely not my favorite escape room i have done. my gm obviously did not want to be there which i can get since we were the last game of the night but just sucked a bit. the room overall was okay and had a mix of locks and tech, just dont think i’ll come back to play their other games. price was only $90 for the 3 of us which is one of the cheapest rooms i’ve done so that’s definitely a plus. you do get what you pay for tho

My first escape room! Puzzles were fun, but set design was a bit underwhelming… just felt like we were in a room with painted walls.

Fun, gen 2 room (some locks, some tech). Had a good variety of puzzles and was just the right level of challenging for our group.

For one of the first rooms I did that got me into escape room, this room was very fun. I do got to say we almost lost because of how long the video was lol

For me personally, the set design was pretty underwhelming. I enjoyed the puzzles and our GM was really nice! Still a fun room though!

This room was really fun, not really spooky at all. GM said we were the first group in awhile to escape with over 10 minutes left, but I thought the puzzles were typically on the easier side. We only needed about 2 hints for 2 puzzles near the end of the room :) Would recommend for a group of 3!

Room was very straight forward! Would recommend to anyone who wants to start escape rooms!

We had to heavily rely on the game master for some parts, but it was still fun. The puzzles don’t exactly feel like they’re cohesive. We didn’t feel like we were in an insane asylum unfortunately
