Saddlewood Saloon

Not bad. Pretty standard western themed room. With two adults and two kids we finished in 26 minutes, so I can honestly say we didn’t quite feel like we got out money’s worth on this one. Probably a good room for a beginner, especially with kids. Just too short.

The room as a whole was pretty average. It was a single room with average props, slightly above average puzzles, and a pretty average atmosphere in general. I will say there was at least a bit of a story compared to their other rooms, it wasn’t just a single introductory video at the beginning and nothing else, but again very average. The room is almost entirely linear, except for one part, so small groups are encouraged. If you are all really good, I recommend maybe two or three people.

We had a fun time in escape this room. The puzzles were not overly complicated and flowed nicely. All the puzzles fit the theme of the room. We had a bit of a slow start and needed a clue to get going but finished with 26 minutes left with no additional clues. Overall a good starter room.

While we enjoyed the castle more, the saloon was still a fun room. Overall, it was very linear, fairly easy, and straightforward. Did see some unique puzzles 🧩 for the first time.

This room was a lot of fun. We may have accidentally brute-forced a puzzle, but that didn’t lessen the impact of the room or the enjoyment that we had.

Good set design. More easier escape room, a lot of reading instead of physical puzzles if that is more your style.
