Left At Home

Really wanted to like this room, but there were too many unfortunate issues with it. Several of our puzzles were broken or difficult to use, and most of them were within the 1st 15 minutes… There were some points where it was unclear that we were supposed to pull or push something with some amount of force. The puzzle in question led to an undecorated room that looked like it was “backstage” or GM only. The decorations were ok, but the room itself looked pretty barebones And our GM, despite their best efforts and kindness, seemed to struggle to address these issues without just coming into the room because of a slow, strange hint system. The theme and idea is very clever, but the execution is flawed and not exciting. The only reason we know we escaped is because the GM came in and counted our tasks to make sure they were all finished. Some good ideas in it, but a lackluster presentation makes me wish I just stayed at real home. *insert Home Alone scream*
