I loved this room for how different it was from any other escape room I've done. I loved how interactive the room was, and how the game master talked with us all throughout the game, wether giving clues, or just entertaining us! Huge shout-out to Jason, who ran out game. Not only did he give us all the right clues to help us get out perfectly on time, he also acted as the ghost haunting us throughout the game! How he did it all at the same time is a mystery to me. The theming and set of this room was really clever, with tons of doors to open up and sneak through. There was also an element involving a curtain (no spoilers) that I really loved!
It felt like more of an experience and a back and forth game with the game master, rather than the traditional escape room where you're left on your own. The game flows very naturally and incorporated the story very nicely.
Amazing! Tons of tech elements, including some fun jump scares. But also plenty of physical locks and puzzles. The strobe effect was one of my favorite parts, as it was quite comedic to watch everything unfold frame by frame during one part.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
The humor aspect of the game is something most places tend to shy away from, but I really enjoyed that element.
I loved the personal momento at the end to wrap it all up!
The game masters are really great at guiding you at whatever pace you need. We used clues, but he did a great job giving us subtle enough hints so we still felt like we solved everything ourselves.
The puzzles were more mechanical themselves, but lots of mag locks and tons of tech elements. Fog, strobe lights, moving parts.
Not terrible. Definitely a couple good jump scares. Sometimes the anticipation of where the ghost is can be the scariest part. The ending is a bit intense if you tend to get scared, but certainly manageable.
Adult content included, plus the scare factor.
The live actor can and will touch you!
Physically active
Somewhat
Minor crawling and one person will need to climb up some stairs. Nothing crazy.
Accessibility
Some rooms would not be accessible in a wheelchair.
