30 escape rooms

A fun experience having to escape for hours on end. After the first three hours, the last room made your brain feel like complete mush, so we asked for clues every minute or so. Going through the rooms from easiest to hardest was a choice, especially since you lose brainpower the further in you get. Had fun despite the quality of the rooms being subpar at best.

Excellent game master, very immersive, loved the theme. The order of the rooms could be switched but the added power ups and alleys are way worth it to experience.

Rating: 4.5/5 - What an awesome experience! It's greater than the sum of its parts, a must play for enthusiasts in the Midwest and worth traveling to, we drove 4+ hours from Indiana and it was worth it. Pros: -Unique 4 hour continuous story with 4 escape rooms tied together with a bonus room and hallway/alley -Set was massive and mostly well done, it was immersive and appropriately weathered -Good use of lighting and sound effects -Story was fun and interesting -Good amount of tech and it was nicely integrated -Only a few padlocks and they were appropriate to the theme -Nice variety of puzzles -Helpful and friendly GM with fun theatrical interactions -Cool superpower moments Cons or things that could be improved: -The superpowers felt a bit underutilized, each one only gets used once. -Story could use a visual element, it's only told over audio which can be hard to follow -Some puzzles did not feel intuitive enough and there were too many memory puzzles which we don't enjoy. Some puzzles were also very finicky to trigger. -Their older areas, particularly City Reserve, felt very sparse and empty compared to the newer areas -Many areas were too dark and we needed to write notes for some puzzles. For some reason they didn't provide a flashlight and writing pad until like 3/4 into the game, these should've been provided at the beginning, so we had to use our phones a lot for notes and as a light. We played with 4 and would recommend 4-5 players. Also check out 60 to Escape when you're in the area.

Save the city is the ultimate escape room experience! I am coming back to do each room individually and so far the experience is unique in certain puzzles and different yet fun story lines! The uniqueness to save the city is in the puzzles in the city itself which add so much depth to the plot that each room has to offer. I will say the rooms themselves are varied in style and puzzle execution with a little something for everyone. For those who like classic escape rooms with number locks and directional codes- city reserve and the armory are for you. For interesting takes on themes with unique room puzzles, the diner and cyber station are more up your alley. Overall very fun and engaging with variety for the 4+ hours you’re in the room. Very fun experience with very little like it!

Just as epic as advertised. Four great escape rooms on their own, but the alleyway and meta-puzzles that tied them all together were truly special. Me and my six friends had a blast navigating the twisted streets and uncovering new areas. City 13 was also very accommodating, letting us eat in their great waiting area, so we were never too tired to push through.

What a wonderful experience. had a great time going through all the rooms in the city and saving the day with my group. It's definitely a marathon and by the end we were pretty tuckered out for a group of 3. The experience plays out along a set order through the rooms and ramps up nicely as you go along. Appreciated the break in the middle to grab a seat and some water and chit chat with the guides a bit as well who were very pleasant. the overall story was sufficient and most of the puzzles were fun and engaging. better than the sum of the parts for sure but a big ask time and money wise when trying to plan a time with other adults mid week. looking forward to bringing family or friends to some of the rooms indivually since they were so impressive

Gameplay

did a good job of weaving the settings together and having thematic puzzles for each environment.

Atmosphere

nothing else like it in the area, feels like a small section of a city and is very immersive

Customer service

both the hosts were friendly and helpful, did a great job getting us in the mindset for the room.

Physically active

Somewhat

There are no physical challenges in the rooms that are overly strenuous but stringing all of them together has you moving and doing things for hours straight so it can start to wear on you over time.

Such a fun experience! This is perfect for groups who love to book back-to-back rooms when visiting a new place. Even themes I generally wouldn't be a fan of tied together with the overall story extremely well and made them interesting! We got lost in the overall storyline at times, as it was only auditory (though this was a while ago, so might have changed). It was definitely tiring, but my group finished with lots of time to spare.
