25 escape rooms
Played this as part of GenCon 2025. We didn’t realize that they would be combining me and my friends with strangers which really dampened the experience. We had a 10 year child who was left to run rogue alone in our group while his mother waited outside, and he pretty much grabbed at everything or tried to wrestle the puzzle out of your hands as soon as someone came up with the solution. At one point he even took my own phone out of my hands while I was trying to use it as a flashlight. Aside from this, the room itself was fun and fairly extensive and well thought out! There were some locks or components that looked like puzzles but turned out to be unrelated to the game; I’ve seen other rooms stick a sign or 🚫 symbol on these which would’ve been helpful and avoided wasting our time. Some of the trigger puzzles didn’t activate correctly either even if we had the right answer which made it a bit confusing. Overall, I would recommend anyone who likes escape games to give this room a shot! Just make sure it’s a private booking— I assume we got pushed with strangers because GenCon was so busy, but it heavily detracted from the experience because we felt like babysitters.
