One of the best escape rooms we've done so far!! Staff were so friendly and very welcoming right off the bat. Lobby is spacious with some merch available along with the available rooms and difficulty ratings on display. They offer free showings of the first room to each one, if available, which is really neat. It's a little pricey, however, you get what you pay for and I think is well worth the price. Plus, afterwards you get a discount if you book another room either that day or another day (basically paying promising you'll comeback to use it/gift card situation). We did the playground room with a difficulty of 6/10 with a party of 4. The room is the biggest holding up to 12 people. They give unlimited hints with no penalties which was really nice! Photo taking is encouraged which was surprising as most make you lock your phones up before entering. There were so many puzzles and things to do it worked well to split into two groups to work simultaneously. We used 3 clues and it was the little hints we needed to get to the next step. So interactive and fun yet it was just challenging enough but not too hard that it was more frustrating than enjoyable. We finished with 16 minutes left and was a great experience - booked to do one at their other location in fisherman's wharf tomorrow!! Highly recommend and we plan to eventually do all the rooms here!

One maglock was completely busted so we had access to a puzzle before it was activated. It was still very obvious when it WAS activated and we could now complete it, so it didn't slow us down much. I think they literally came in right after us to fix the magnet, so it probably works now!

This was a phenomenally poor experience -- one of the puzzles was totally broken, we told the gamemasters that we did everything verbally several times, and wasted 15 minutes on their technology being buggy. The room was also not that expansive or complex, and quite crowded with 8 people. We heard the record was about 29 minutes from a group of 3! On the plus side, they were kind enough to delay the start by 10 minutes for us running late.

Wonderfully coherent theming and natural puzzles that didn’t feel tacked on at all. Highly recommend. A little challenging with 2 due to the volume of puzzles, but doable. Ideal size is likely 3-4.

We played as group of 2, and it’s very challenging to finish all the puzzles (games master kindly gave us a few more minutes to complete the last puzzle). Maybe do it with 6 or at least 4 would help, as the puzzles are parallel.

Ive done all The Escape Game themed rooms in Downtown SF, Fisherman’s ward, and San Jose and this was by far our favorite room of all! The puzzles were easy, good flow, unique puzzles, and just super super fun all around!
