Our game master was awesome! Loved how detailed the room was and the puzzles. I did this room with a couple of first timers and we got out with seconds to spare. Definitely recommend to do the room with more experienced gamers. Had to use a few hints

I wanted so badly to love this room, I was so excited about it and have wanted to do it for so long. Four of us booked a few weeks ago and we were super disappointed to find a family of 4 added to our group with two young children. This room is slated to hold 12 people which would have been insane - with 8 of us in the classroom (2 of them being very small) it was already cramped. But nobody is going to buy 8 extra slots to book a room by themselves. I don’t know many places anymore that don’t let you reserve a room for your individual group, and having to essentially spend the whole time trying to placate two small children and having them underfoot and in the way when I have spent a significant amount of money for my friends and I to enjoy it is frustrating. I don’t think I would come back to TEG until they change their policy.

This was not easy but wow, it was an amazing experience! I was apprehensive when I first booked it as this location does not offer private room unless you book all the slots. We didn't have as many people going in our group, so we chanced it and got to play with a group of strangers. The family we played with was fantastic. Our ages raged from 3 to 50s, and all in between. The elementary to high school aged kids rocked it! There were 10 of us that played and the amount of puzzles really required that many of us. We got out with I believe 11 minutes to spare. The room was unforgettable and the connection from one puzzle to the next all made sense. This room was not easy but still child age friendly.

Not scary
This is classroom/playground themed. Not scary at all. Kids in a group will love it!

This room was big and there were a lot of back and forth areas and moving pieces that required constant mobility.
Should be handicap accessible. Colors were needed for various puzzles.

Loved it. One of my favorites yet and I’ve done a lot of escape rooms. Full of surprises and there were a good variety of puzzles/tasks. Very thoughtful and very fun. They really got creative with it and Zeff our GM was great!
Honestly, probably one of my favorites that I’ve done, and I’ve done quite a few! Games were fun but not ridiculous and there was a good variety of different kinds of puzzles/tasks. It flowed well and was full of surprises.
So cool and definitely full of surprises.
Zeff was really awesome. He allowed us to have our fun and helped in ways that were helpful but not obvious when we needed it

We had a ball (literally) at the Playground escape room, and it's rolled into my husband's Top 5 Rooms played ⚽️ The Playground room at The Escape Game is perfect for adults looking for a challenge. Despite the school theme, the puzzles are complex, high tech and require teamwork. Many memorable elements, especially two at the end. I'd suggest at least four teammates to be able to get all the puzzles done in time. We had a family of five, that we didn't know, join us in the room. The kids were especially helpful - the teenager immediately started in on a math puzzle, and the tween noticed some stuff in lower places where the adults hadn't looked. This room was tough and had LOTS to do, and without those additional people not sure if the two of us could have gotten out in time. Above and beyond customer service from the manager working the front desk. We mentioned we had done two rooms in another one of their locations, and she presented us with a The Escape Game Passport. We’ve subsequently carried it with us to another of their locations, and have used it to plan some future escape room centric vacations. Note that The Escape Game offers buy 3 get one free sales a few times a year around holidays, so if you're planning on doing multiple rooms or having multiple players in the future, it's worth trying to catch a sale from them.
