This room is super cute! It's definitely the easiest room that I've done at The Escape Ventures but it is still impressively designed and very fun. The puzzles all aligned well with the storyline and this room would be a great introduction for younger players or players who are new to escape rooms!
The puzzles made sense in context with the storyline and it flowed very nicely. It wasn't entirely linear so there were times where our small party was able to divide and conquer.
This was a very cute holiday room. The set was very festive and completely immersive.
All of the employees at The Escape Ventures were really welcoming and helpful throughout the rooms!
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
This game was well executed and I would highly recommend for a holiday room. There were elements of this room that were similar (but not identical to) other holiday rooms that I have played.
Very cute storyline that is engaging for players of all ages.
As a small group that has done a lot of escape rooms, we found the room to be relatively easy but not so easy that it was boring. The puzzles were engaging they were just more straightforward than a lot of other games. I think that the difficulty level is very fitting for the family friendly theme of the room.
Game tech
There were some physical locks but there were also some technical aspects.
Due to the non-linear nature of this game and the relatively spacious rooms, this game could easily acommodate 4+ players. I would probably recommend 4-6 due to the relatively easy difficulty level but more players could fit in the rooms.
This is the best option for young players at The Escape Ventures! The puzzles aren't frustratingly hard and the subject matter is exciting for children.
Physically active
Not at all
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that there were a couple of steps required for all members of the party. There was no crawling required though.
Accessibility
I think that there are a couple of steps required for all members of the party but I could be remembering wrong. Otherwise, there aren't any aspects of this room that require a great deal of mobility. If you can navigate 2-4 steps then you should be alright in this room.
Some puzzles utilized color but I don't think that any utilized sound.
