Great idea and even a good implementation. It was neat and had tons of potential, it just wasn’t fun. We felt very isolated with the lack of GM interaction and lack of debrief (or even the acknowledgment that we escaped at the end). They did appear understaffed and fully booked, so I get it, but it did absolutely distract from the experience. That being said, the novelty and implementation was neat, but we all agreed, it just wasn’t that much fun. I get why people like it, it just wasn’t for us.

Gameplay

Nice idea. Great set. Just wasn’t very fun. Felt very disconnected.

Looked like the staff was overwhelmed. Not their fault necessarily, but it felt as though we had no GM attention at all and even after we “escaped”, we just opened the door and left. We actually felt bad and went back to let them know that we finished and gave them an opportunity to debrief. There wasn’t one, just a “thanks for playing, wanna take a pic?”

All interaction was done through a robot. No GM or other live actor interaction at all. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it did feel a bit isolating.

Your GM is an IA robot which is unique. She will read you off clues and the clues will also be written on the screen in front of her.

In these rooms all of the GMs use IA so no one actively monitoring your game. There might be someone watching every now and then but for the most part no one is monitoring your game.

Accessibility

I would call if you have any mobility issues as there is a small step in this room without a ramp. The escape room is also located on the 2nd floor and there is an elevator but we never used it.

Was visiting and booked a room. Then we booked the rest. I felt this was the hardest of the rooms but it had such a interesting story and hint system.
