Not our favorite room, but we still had a good time. Most places provide a notepad for larger puzzles that have a lot of steps, but they did not offer one which is my biggest complaint. Overall the flow was ok, but there were a couple of parts that didn’t fully make sense and we ended up completing by accident. Still a fun experience and the theming was great

Lots of things were broken. Lights for puzzles didn’t work at some point. Was able to brute force one puzzle without clues. One puzzle required like 7 or 8 items and we somehow made it work with 5 of the required 7-8. Probably the worst room I’ve ever done because of how many things were broken.

Good design. Pretty small room though, so less people is better.

Set design was good. Flo and puzzle design was a little lacking. We did the wizard room right before this, and blew through it in 28 minutes. So we decided to do this one right after since it was available. Granted it was a harder rated room. But alot of things seemed that the design could be improved . Lighting I'm some areas. Some pieces were stuck and required more that 2 fingers of force to remove. And I do t think that was Intentional. Also there was a sound puzzle.thst was just tedious and frustrating

We just finished this room with 2 people. We found it challenging but not so hard that is wasn’t enjoyable. You did have to think outside of the box a little for some of the puzzles and there’s definitely more auditory clues than in many other rooms. That and the theme/environment made it unique, which I liked. Staff were really great and seemed genuinely interested in your success.

This was perhaps the worst game I have ever done. Immersion destroyed immediately upon starting the room. Un-intuitive and unfair puzzles. Pieces of the set were coming apart. Flow was very linear with puzzles not designed for the capacity of the room. Out of 6 people, several of us had nothing to do at many times. GM told us that the room is difficult because it is supposed to be their hardest one. I don't agree with designing puzzles and game flow to be tricky for the sake of difficulty.

My group did not enjoy this escape room. I would say that it's spooky/torture themed with some puzzles that imitated people's screams/cries. Some puzzles were audio clues that were hard to understand/interpret.

This room had a great set — it really immersed you in various elements of medieval times (be it torture or religion…or dare I say, what’s the difference? Just kidding!). I have to say, while some of the puzzles had some interesting interactive elements to them, the effects kind of fell flat. The logic for some of them just didn’t quite click and some things were worn out to the point where it made an additional barrier to solving what you needed. I think the experience did pick up in the latter half of it, with more straightforward puzzles that were simple enough to follow. Overall, I would have loved to see better logic and functionality for the first part.
