My group heard about a new room that 60out was opening up and decided to do it. Unfortunately this game suffered from its technical issues. While everything was working properly, some equipment wasn’t very responsive and led to some difficulty solving the puzzles. The help system didn’t help with one of the puzzles either and we were stuck on one of them for quite a while. I’m usually not disappointed with 60out’s room but this one was just sad.

similar to the other reviews. the room was so short, my friend and i struggled with one puzzle for a long time and still made it out incredibly fast. there are no red herrings, pretty much just gives you exactly what you need when you need it so not a lot of thought necessary in my opinion

The concept of this room is cool but out of all the rooms I’ve done, this is probably my least favorite. The pictures also are misleading, there are no lasers to play with and we weren’t really even briefed on the storyline beforehand. There is one puzzle that was pretty neat that I had never seen before, but the rest were questionable and didn’t require a ton of brain power.

HERO was alright. The preview pics were a little deceiving because I was so excited for the lasers! Except there weren’t any lasers to play with 😔 The room itself was pretty simple in design and honestly the puzzles weren’t too difficult to get through and there weren’t many of them. One of the puzzles depended on orientation and that took a bit to figure out. Decent room though and was perfect for a team of 2

Overall, the esthetic of the room was quite cool. It was very immersive but that was about it. We got out in such a quick time and that was after several technical difficulties getting started and the clock not having been stopped. I would maybe recommend this as a first escape room for teenagers and no more than two people. 60 Out Has so many great games and this one just fell flat. This review is longer than the game itself.
Gameplay
The gameplay was very very basic. The puzzles were not challenging at all but the story was quite interesting. The overall game was very underwhelming and almost feels like it was two rooms short of being a good game.
Atmosphere
Set design, like most other 60 out games, was quite great. They really do a good job with the atmosphere of their games. It was a little upsetting that the game was very glitchy
Customer service
The game Master during this game was not paying attention to our room - which was quite disappointing. We didn’t even know the game had started until we raised our hands and asked if somethings supposed to happen… It was glitchy and she didn’t even notice.
