I really enjoyed the ambiance, the set design, and the story that unfolds as you progress throughout the room. I liked the puzzles; they didn’t necessarily impress or disappoint. The only thing I didn’t like is that our GM was running another game at the same time. I understand that sometimes you have to do that, but as players it takes away from the experience. I will admit, I don’t feel like our hints suffered from our GM running 2 games, but it was in the back of my mind as I played. Very nice staff, and clean establishment. Would definitely go back for another game.
I enjoyed the gameplay. Pretty much all of the puzzles were good, but there weren’t any puzzles that really stood out. I don’t specifically remember any of the puzzles being bad. Similar style puzzles throughout the room with a little variation here and there.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the set design of this room. It isn’t top of the line, but it all comes together nicely and is very enjoyable.
The GM (who we believe to be the owner) was very friendly and fun to talk to before and after the game.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
I’ve only played around 10 games, but I haven’t played any others quite like this one yet. I thought it was interesting how important the story was to the game.
The story was an important part of the game and it was very interesting and easy to grasp onto if you pay attention. It continues to unfold throughout the game.
Pretty difficult - 30% escape rate according to the owner and website
Mostly mechanical with a few high tech puzzles
4-5 players is perfect. We had 5 and I think it would have been slightly better with 4, but 5 was great nonetheless
Really spooky ambiance with a few good jump scares and sudden prop openings.
It was spooky with a few jump scares. I wouldn’t bring small children into a room this difficult or scary.
Physically active
Not at all
You had to bend down to unlock some things but I wouldn’t call this physically active
Accessibility
It was very dark, but we were given flashlights. I personally really enjoyed it being darker, but I could see people with really poor vision having trouble in this room even with the flashlights. It may be difficult to get into parts of the room with a wheelchair, and make it tight for others to walk around, but you should be able to get a wheelchair into all parts of the game; it just wouldn’t be optimal.
We had no trouble finding parking and we’re able to park very close.
