The Wood Shed

We just completed The Wood Shed at Mind Bender Escape Rooms, and it was a thrilling experience from start to finish. This horror-themed room is packed with atmosphere and delivers well-executed jump scares that are perfectly integrated into the storyline—not just thrown in for shock value. The set design and theming are top-notch, fully immersing you in a chilling and suspenseful environment that feels straight out of a horror movie. What really stood out was how seamlessly the puzzles fit into the narrative. Each challenge felt like a natural part of the story, enhancing the experience rather than distracting from it. Nothing felt out of place or forced, which is rare in horror-themed escape rooms where mood can sometimes come at the cost of puzzle flow. Overall, The Wood Shed was a blast—creepy, clever, and incredibly fun. If you're a fan of horror and enjoy immersive experiences, this room is a must-try. Mind Bender did a fantastic job blending fear, fun, and great gameplay into one unforgettable adventure

Creepy and eerie the entire time. Didn’t do much cause everything was scary. There’s also multiple instances of the host entering the game and trying to scare you. Fuck you to whoever did that shit to me

Older gen game, but had fun!

Very interesting room with a pretty basic story and theming. I wish they utilized more of the cool set design because there were cool aspects that were hardly utilized. Some of the puzzles drove me mad (especially the element puzzle). I feel like things need to be a little clearer but overall a positive experience with a surprise jump scare that got me pretty good!

Definitely my favorite room at Mind Bender. I've replayed this one several times just so more people can experience it. The jump scares are well timed and it's very immersive.

The theming was nice. There’s more scare level than I thought which was a happy surprise! A couple puzzles in the room didn’t logically follow for me, but it’s different for every player. Overall, I would recommend.

This was one of our favorites so far. Even though my lady is not into scary things at all. So fun. So creepy. A good flow to the story and the clues. I really enjoyed this game. Just remember to breath while in the game 🤙🏾

Good premise for the game, was decently creepy at times. Only complaint was that the game didn’t flow well and the puzzles were tedious and not obvious to discover.
