Mark as done to rate

Due to the rise in crime in our dusty old Wild West town the sheriff has been forced to deputize citizens to fight back against marauders, horse thieves, and vandals of every stripe. However, he’s knows better than to deputize just anybody who walks in the door — if you want the job, you’ll have to walk back out the door before the competition ends to receive your badge. Two teams will enter — one team leaves with a job to do and the authority to do it. You already know it, but the showdown begins at High Noon.

We did it "one sided" with a group of three. It would have been super cool to have more people to dual with.

I thought that the escape room was super fun! Hudson was our game master and he helped walk us through the tough puzzles when we needed it! We have done a bunch of escape rooms and really enjoyed this one! It was tough but didn’t deter us from working hard and finishing it.

This was a fun, easy game that would be great for big groups or kids. We breezed through it. The whole room is about unlocking manual locks in one area, but there are different kinds and there's a way to tell which puzzles go with locks which is actually pretty cute and clever. Love that there's a way to do red team versus blue team, or do what we did and only do one side.

Well themed, no story though, just lots of themed puzzles in any order.

This was very different from a typical escape room in both good and bad ways. It’s a huge room designed in such a way that two teams can compete against each other solving the same 10 or so puzzles, but with different solutions based on team color (red vs. blue). As such, it can get confusing since there are double the puzzles, and you have to ignore puzzles meant for the other team. They’re all in the same huge space, so it can possibly get crowded if you have the maximum 12 people in a room trying to compete. That all said, the puzzles are great. Even though there are a lot of locks at a time, it’s easy to figure out which solution goes where. It’s extremely nonlinear too. Possibly the most nonlinear game I’ve ever played. Any of the 10ish puzzles can be solved in any order, which is a feat! It’s like a puzzle playground in the Wild West! We played as a group of 2 in a team together against nobody, which is not standard so thanks to the staff for allowing us to do this! We actually set the record for a team of 2 in that room, which was super hype! Very fun room, probably even more so if you play the team vs. team duel. It’s HIIIIIGHHHH NOOOON!

Walking in the building, my group was told this was the hardest room they offer and we probably would fail to escape. We finished the entire room with over half the time remaining and zero clues. My group of four stayed on the same team per the employee’s recommendation, however split up working on puzzles. Two people worked on one puzzle for the entire room, and the other two were able to finish every other puzzle during that time. The puzzles felt uninspired and weren’t very interesting in my opinion. I was looking forward to this room after reading all the good reviews, but I left there feeling like I had just been robbed of $30.

Gameplay

Although the puzzles aren’t bad, they’re all only one step and don’t build on to each other.

Atmosphere
Customer service

Our group was told upfront we probably wouldn’t escape and that this room is really hard. Considering we got out with over half the time left, every one of us felt lied to. And telling customers before they’ve even stepped foot in the room that they aren’t going to get out isn’t very encouraging.

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

The concept was different than anything I’ve ever seen, but the actual puzzles and room were not.

Very fun room! We chose to play this as one team instead of splitting into two since this was my parents first escape room, as well as my sons. There are enough puzzles to figure out that we were all able to break apart and work on a couple at a time.

Did this with my family and in-laws over the holidays. My wife was the only other person with escape room experience, but we all had a great time. The room is very big and can accommodate a lot of people. We did the room as a single team since we had so many newbies, but it was still a great experience, and I imagine it'd be a ton of fun to do as a competition as well. Definitely a lot of fun, and there were enough puzzles and locks that we were all working on different things simultaneously. Definitely worth checking this room out!

Gameplay

There were a lot of fun and engaging puzzles. They're all non linear, so your group can divide an conquer to get things done quickly.

Atmosphere

Props and set are great, and it all feeds into the "old west" vibe.

Customer service

GM and staff are awesome at this location! Hang out and chat with them if you can!

Yes

Story

Not much of a story, but still fun.

Nothing too challenging, but there are quite a few puzzles to figure out. Definitely would've been harder if we were actually competing against another team.

Ideal number of players

6

4 is the minimum so you can do 2v2 or run the room as a group of 4, but 6 was a pretty comfortable number for us (the youngest two were just along to have fun). The space an easily support a group of 10 though, so grab whoever you can convince to come along and give it a shot!

Somewhat because there is one task that is kind of skill based, and it it a large space that you'll be moving around in a lot as you look for clues, cyphers, etc.

This room was so much fun. It is a competition style room so you can play against your friends and race to get out. The room is non-linear and themed like a western town. The puzzles are all different and some solve directional locks, which aren’t seen often in escape rooms. The hint system is a phone in the corner where you call your room host. The story wasn’t the best for this room, but the gameplay more than made up for it. Highly recommend this room for anyone old enough and in large groups.
