Firstly, the speakers in the room that gave us the introduction to the game were at a very minimal volume, so it was difficult to hear the objective of the room. In addition, several props weren’t working, and the game master had to tell us during the game to retry the clue even when we had it correct since buttons weren’t working. We had to retry several times, which was a time sink. After we finished the game, we asked the game master about a few of the clues/props that did not make sense to us since we were thoroughly confused on the order of the room or purpose of certain clues. He proceeds to then tell us that a few of the props were broken, which is why things were taped up in the room with handwritten notes saying not to touch certain props. Clues had to be redone since machines weren’t working. He even came into the room in the middle of the game to hand us a clue since the original prop was broken. This room overall had very confusing and time consuming puzzles that did not make sense or can be reasoned through. The game master was blase about the room having multiple broken props. It was also very poorly lit in the room to top it off. Probably the worst escape room I’ve done to date, and was a waste of our time/money.
