‘Tis truly a dark day for thee. Ye hath chosen a life of wanton abandon, debauchery, and depravity, rejecting goodness and patience for the sake of carnal pleasures. But ye cannot escape judgment forever, and the time hath come for ye to make thine penance through wound and blood. Here in this place of horrifying torture and punishment will ye spend thine final hours before a painful end, followed by judgment to the eternal place where the flames are ne’er extinguished. But the Lord doth promise forgiveness for those who seek Him still. Free thyself from this imprisonment and flee to the welcoming arms of thine Redeemer! Repent and confess thine sins to the Lord before thine soul is lost to the darkness forever, and He will set ye free indeed!

Jaden was a great gamemaster for us during Medievil Madness, providing just the right amount of help needed to get us in the right direction. Love seeing people that genuinely enjoy their job. :D The room was very immersive and modern, with very little traditional “lock & key” puzzles. I was really impressed with the creativity of certain puzzles, utilizing all sorts of senses and intellect so each of our party had a role they could find pride in! Gamemasters here are very chill and informative, not pressuring you at all and only chiming in when necessary. We never felt like they were ever “giving” us the answers, which I find rare in escape rooms sometimes! I also liked all the props that different rooms needed to make you feel more incorporated into the room. I’ve done a lot of escape rooms all over the country and this one definitely makes my top 5! Well done!
Excellent puzzles! We were able to figure almost everything out on our own with just some searching and thinking. No outside information was needed. Everyone should theoretically be able to solve each puzzle, it’s just take some observation skills. I love the variety as well! There are some audio puzzles and even a weight based puzzle that felt very unique, and the ending was so funny I laughed my ass off. Best ending to an escape room ever!
Super spooky and dark! They gave us lanterns so that each one of us could have a light source, that really added to the aesthetic as well.
Our game master was very friendly, clearly enjoyed his job, answered questions we had well being efficient and timely. Dude was a bro and gave us an extra five minutes when we were near the end, making it clear to me that they truly want everyone to enjoy their experience and finish the room if possible. Our game master also was very good about only giving vague hints if we were doing well and more direct hints if we were running low on time. We always felt like WE still solved each puzzle with a push in the right direction.

I would say that at the very least you need three people due to a couple of the puzzles. Two is still 100% possible, and up to five would still be fun.

Rise, tarnished, err… lost souls. Had fun in this room despite the extreme darkness, insanely difficult 1st puzzle, and over reliance of sound that is sometimes hard to hear or distinguish. Loved the atmosphere and theming. It’s a bit creepy because of the subject material, but it’s not really scary or even spooky. Apparently, this room is about sins and cleansing them, but remember, darkness is a sin… The 2nd room had a lot going on, especially for our undersized group of 2, but the GM was great for not just letting us do this at all with just 2 players, but for also helping us escape with our souls intact!
Thank you to our GM for letting us do this with 2 people and helping us escape with our souls intact!

Decent room if you're looking for a national chain-type escape room to do with family/newbies (although in this case, PanIQ is apparently internationally owned). Some puzzles I haven't seen before, which brought life and increased my interest/enjoyment. Only one or two glitchy puzzles that took a couple tries to solve even once we knew the answer. Biggest problem I had with this specific room (SLIGHT SPOILER) is an over-reliance on "sound-based" puzzles, which I personally have an extremely strong distaste for. They are simply not precise enough, and no matter what group of people I am with, I have never seen someone be able to quickly and intuitively solve a "sound-based" puzzle. There's also one lengthy puzzle of this variety that you would never naturally guess what you're supposed to do to complete it. They let us finish everything in extra time, though, which was very nice.
Might be personal preference, but a lot of subjective "sound" puzzles
Decent. Chain quality
Very nice!

Tech-heavy room that took me out of the medieval theme too often. Our team of two wasn’t large enough either in certain parts of the game. We beat it, but in truth, it was below other experiences we had at PanIQ and felt hard-on-purpose with subterfuge instead of design. Recommended teams of 3-4, you’ll beat the room, but you may not love the journey.

This room was very unique and the puzzles were all well integrated into the environment. There were not any padlocks or combinations, the puzzles were all very dynamic. There were a few points where it wasn’t clear what was needing to be done but overall it did flow well.
